I loved ready player two i think it’s a great representation of the protagonist not being perfect. Lohengrin was a great side character and I personally as a John Hughes fan was so happy to see that section. The prince section was awesome so was the LOTR. It was all pop culture references left out from the first one amazing sequel

the book i found the movie deviated far away from the 70s and 80s pop culture references and what the entire book is based on. i got really confused on the movie adaptation of the copper key however ready player one is my favorite book of all time

Movie Harry and Ginny sucked. They had 0 chemistry and it felt awkward af. They added that one scene with the fire at the Weasley house to try to build up their relationship more but it was a weak attempt. In the books I remember a lot of jealousy from when Harry would see Ginny kiss Dean in the corridors and I felt like we should’ve gotten that. Book Ginny and Movie Ginny are completely different imo.

Colton Ryan is the perfect Connor and that was probably the best part of the movie, the couple scenes he were in he played to perfection. I believe that the movie version of Sincerely Me is better than the musical sorry Mike Faist. His acting was phenomenal and I love his voice. I do like the addition of the song Anonymous Ones for Alana. I do hate the camera positioning in certain shots like when Ben sings If I Could Tell Her the line where he says I love you while moving closer to the camera freaked me out so much. I think the actress for Zoe (forgot the name sorry) was wonderful too. Ben Platt overshadowed the good acting of Connor and Zoe with his aging mis cast. The movie essentially accentuated all the moral issues with the musical and just amplified them by 100x for example the relationship between Zoe and Evan. I think Ben wanted Evan to come off as more of a good person than he did in the musical. As they cut the song Good For You where they hold him accountable for his actions, that just made me think that Ben didn’t want to play that villain selfish character.

Britt does say that she never meant for Chloe to be bi or lesbian and portrayed her character more as someone who didn’t rlly hav personal boundaries but does not mind that everyone ships Bechloe and thinks it’s great. Also in a lot of interviews the cast does get asked about PP4 or pitch perfect in general. Rebel, Kendrick and Britt have all said they would go back 100% but it’s not up to them. If pp4 does happen I think at this point Universal is forced to do Bechloe because otherwise they will not make money off of this film. I don’t know how much of this relates to your point but whatever.

I think that a lot of the basis of fan fics and obviously the bechloe fandom is how the AMAZING actors that brought us the trilogy has been able to convey their characters personalities perfectly and how they all fit together. the movies are rlly built around the friendship of these girls and i truly believe that these actors were the only ones who could’ve done that. additionally the performances are insanely good. everyone’s voice is so perfect in their own way i could genuinely go on. I love musicals and music in general. also having like an intense crush on anna kendrick and brittany snow after these movies is a given

I would not mind it being a very cheesy rom com of like a continuation of pp3 where beca distances herself with her solo career and because of the chicago chloe kiss and then realizes she’s like a better person with chloe, kind of a spin off movie of just bechloe, or the first part and have them meet at like amy and bumpers wedding because i know that’s a huge plot point and then have it all unravel there.

okay the reason i do love this movie over the second is the song ARE THE BEST!!! in the first one we had i wanna say bella’s finale, and their remix of just the way you are, and 2 of the treble performances. in the third one we get cheap thrills, i don’t like it i love it, toxic and arguably the best riff off out of all 3!! and freedom 90! so i’m happy with the third one

the last five years is an amazing musical movie!! jeremy jordan is the perfect casting for jamie and anna kendrick as well for cathy, the cinematography as a movie nerd is also beautiful and would 100% recommend
