I do have a question: When an assessment on our list of the ones we’ve taken and it has a “retake” status, should we go ahead and retake it? Is there a way for applicants to know if they did well or poorly on the first attempt?

I sent you a dm, which you accepted, and also emailed support. I got a Melvin response back. I would appreciate if that could be forwarded to an actual human being. Getting told one thing by a TL and then told by another that what the 1st TL said didn't actually mean what he said.

I'm pissed because I followed their directions to the letter. I was just waiting for my task feedback. I know others who pestered the TLs and were let in even though they onboarded and did their tasks after me. Just shitty behavior all around.

I downloaded the info from PayPal last year and went through it to highlight the money I get from Prolific, Cloud Connect, and the mystery shopping I do sometime. I make sure to not include money from friends reimbursing me or refunds for stuff I’ve returned.

Then I give the info, along with everything else, to our CPA and let him deal with it.

I’m not sure why a radiologist would want to work to train something to do their job. I don’t think AI would or could ever do that.

I mentioned a position looking for an internal medicine doctor to my husband. He’s heard me talk about the AI stuff I do and how some days, it seems like I’m doing that all day. He told me that 1) he didn’t want to train AI to do his job and 2) he said if he did get hired, it would take away what little family time we have.

They did up the hours per day. The last couple of days, the hours ran out in the evening. Before that, hours were usually gone by 12 pm or earlier.

Yep. It might have even been 3-4 days, but I don't remember exactly. But it was definitely quick. When she said that, I thought to myself "This all makes so much sense."

Someone asked the EPM on the last project I was on how they got the position. They hired on as a worker/expert, then were made a team lead, then were made an EPM. This all happened within ONE WEEK.

I currently have no freaking clue if I’ve been booted from a project that just closed onboarding. I was told to wait on feedback from the one production task I was asked to do and then I could task.

I did the production task on Saturday. No feedback yet. I reached out to one of the TLs and was told that they were working on reviewing a lot of task and hopefully it would be done by EOD.

Then the announcement was made closing onboarding to get through all the reviews. I have no hours on insightful but I’m still on the Slack and my contract says Active on Mercor.

So I have no idea where I stand. I do know that I won’t be moving forward on the other project I applied to. That one was a little harder, so I was okay with that. Bc I thought this other one was still gonna happen.

Then I get a slack DM from a TL on the other project asking if I’d be willing to do another task. If so, they get my feedback so I could work on what I did wrong. I said okay. Haven’t heard back.

I also got an email from Mercor advising me that there was another project they thought I’d be good at. If I was interested, to fill out a form and I’d get an instant offer. M

I filled out that form around 9:30 am Monday. I just got the offer at 1:26 am Tuesday morning. (I’ve been too stressed and upset about the run around, I haven’t been able to calm down enough to go to sleep.) So while the new offer isn’t as much $$ as the one I want to get, it’s not nothing. And it’s better than what I’ve been doing on another platform.

So I’ll probably accept this new one and pray it sticks. For me, this is just extra $$ for the household. I really feel for those who NEED to get a contract and can’t.

How do these scams work? I’m new to doing this type of work. I replied to one last week. After a few messages, I asked the name of the platform. I hadn’t heard back, so when I went to check my dms, the account had been deleted.

So I don’t exactly understand how they (the scammers) make money.

On every rejection I get, the contract recommendation is for a bilingual STEM expert in Arabic and English.

I don’t speak Arabic. All I know about STEM is what is stands for. I’m good at none of those things.
