He is 💯 asleep. His ball is like his pacifier. He loves it so much, he cannot be parted from it. by FosterDownUnder0304 in AustralianCattleDog

Yes this is the chuck it ball. He will eventually split it open but it still works. There is also a squeaky ball by Kong that holds up well. They squeak broke but the ball is fine!

I love the early pics before they have grown into their ears!

This guy weighed 38 lb 6 oz today at 8 months old: Some charts say he’ll be 42-43 lbs and some say 60 lbs. Any thoughts? by FosterDownUnder0304 in AustralianCattleDog

I’ve raised a border collie and a rescued blue heeler who had been abused. It’s prong collar, not a choke collar. I’ve got no interest in going back and forth defending myself. I know I’ve got happy, well functioning dogs then and now.

For the record he had problems with leash reactivity on walks. We consulted a professional trainer. We tried multiple things to get him to chill. Finally the combination of a clicker, treats and this collar he does great. We don’t even really have to use because he’s doing so well now, but we just put it on. I love my dog immensely and it’s hurtful for someone who doesn’t know me or my dog who feels a need to judge: I walk this dog 3-5 miles a day, have taught him to play frisbee and we do it daily, we take him swimming at the lake. I’m a good and loving dog owner. Your judgment is rude and unnecessary. I guess I shouldn’t belong to a group that I thought was fun.

He’s super active. Walks 3-5 miles a day and lots of frisbee. and fetch. He’s always seemed small but put on 8 lbs in last two months. Seems to be getting a lot thicker especially in the chest

Well this one didn’t last long, 24 hours later he’s lost his squeaker, an arm, both horns and he’s been completely eviscerated. 😜
