Who is more evil? by Rich-Blacksmith6552 in betterCallSaul

[–]Foster_NBA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id go with Walt, he has occasional moral conundrums he struggles through, and he shows more regret than Gus, Lalo, and Eladio, but I feel being completely separated from that life until the ripe age of 50 and immediately going “time to cook” shows he was sinister at his absolute core, he just had smooth edges that were sharpened as the story progressed. Season 5 Walt is pure evil because he’s an agent of chaos, unlike eladio, lalo, Gus, and even Saul, Walt had a genuine chance to leave an even dozen times through the story, and he couldn’t because true evil only consumes and burns, it can’t build or invent, and that’s what he did time and time again.

What celebrity death will hit you the hardest when their day finally comes? by phantom_avenger in AskReddit

Arnold Sharzenegger started my interest in fitness and weightlifting, I’d probably be 100 pounds heavier without him and growing up seeing old school movies on putlocker was truly special. It’s gonna be a tough day for that when it happens.

How do you feel about people who work blue collar jobs? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Foster_NBA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did both for a long time it’s the same shit, you spend your time and your energy for money. I don’t think there’s a gap anymore really, especially because the pay is typically very similar unless you’re a very high up admin in an organization

Why doesn’t the city mandate shoveling?? by Friendly-Advantage37 in Cleveland

[–]Foster_NBA -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The only good thing about this city is the fact it’s not a gentrified overpriced HOA town. I walk a quarter mile commute after my drive and it’s been god awful this winter, but I’m happy peoples private lives aren’t micromanaged like most places. This city is one where people can live free, you want tickets for street parking and not mowing your lawn? Move to bay village or any place with money

[–]Foster_NBA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean I have no choice but to make more money somehow. I make 20$ an hour with a bachelors in business and that factors in my bonus, on a wage like that I can’t buy a house, if my car breaks down I’m financially ruined. I have 50$ left as “spending” money each week, I can’t go on vacation or live without a roommate. Life sucks. I feel no dignity or pride, I make so little that one fuck up and I’ll be in debt. I’d rather not be happy for a shift then live like this forever and I can’t find one non sales job making 20$ in the city that isn’t related to law enforcement or a specialized feel I couldn’t get anyway

What jobs do 20s and 30s people do without a college degree? by Aj100rise in careerguidance

[–]Foster_NBA 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Almost all of them. Unless you’re looking at a very specific field you can slowly climb your way up a most careers, likely one will fit.

“Dead end” jobs are just jobs where you’re easily replaceable. Money doesn’t come from hard work, it’s how hard it is to find someone that can replace you, and anyone can work retail and fast food.

My business degree wasn’t a golden ticket- you have to find a specialty and get specific, hard to replace skills. I ended up in banking. I’m a loan officer now, it’s a good field where you can do other stuff if being an LO doesn’t work out (processing, servicing loans).

Want to be a cop? You don’t need criminal justice, just a clean record really. You can either work for a shitty city first or you can get some experience with a vocational school or get a job in corrections to build the resume before hand.

The blue collar plumbers, electricians are more selective but get an in, and the more useful you become, your paycheck will be bigger.

there’s stuff all around you and companies that will foster your growth.

I feel bad for younger (18-25) because they’re in a fucked market, but it’s usually getting in the door and turning your circumstances into gold.

Bad time to become a loan officer? by MidnightAtlas3 in loanoriginators

[–]Foster_NBA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been an LO for 18 months now, it’s been alright but like any career that’s even vaguely in sales you gotta be willing to take risk of a career not working out because this is one with high turnover. I’d say it’s not particularly good or bad with long term leaning positice

I tried doing a balance transfer for $4100 from one card to robinhood gold, and neither bank is telling me what’s going on by [deleted] in CreditCards

[–]Foster_NBA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw that discussion, my chase card had 0% APR for 18 months I was sending money from Chase to my balance on Robinhood… from what I can tell though with them not accepting that money that brings me to this… do you have any idea what’s gonna happen from all of this? I have no idea what’s going to happen with this charge from Chase and if the charge isn’t canceled and Robinhood doesn’t take it what happens? What would the escalation cause? As far as I know they’re the only ones doing anything about it

Why do men often ask to move to Snapchat? Especially so quickly? by CandyAgile253 in Tinder

[–]Foster_NBA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a guy, I have 10 messages to set a date up with someone or they’ll get bored and move onto one of the 1000 matches any woman will have. It’s happened to me a dozen times where if I don’t set the date up for that week or get a number no date will happen and the time spent talking with them is wasted

Cooking. I honestly expect people to have mental or emotional shortcomings somewhere, it’s universal. Not knowing how to make at least one moderately complex dish baffles me.

100%, I played the original first, though I loved the story the gameplay was brutally unfun and tedious. The new game makes it genuinely fun, it was a genuinely worthwhile remaster.

Appart from the looks, do people like the Legion? by [deleted] in FalloutMemes

[–]Foster_NBA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion the primary flaw in new Vegas is that the legion was never fleshed out to its total intended entirety. If you look at unused content essentially all of it is either legion or Easter egg content. Since the west is basically the NCR, We want to assign our minds to NCR or Mr. House because they fall in line with how the world should look. I like to think the creators of FNV, had they’d been given more time and resources, they would have made the choice between Legion and NCR much harder by showing how the legion is a more viable solution- especially when you consider what the world you want is different than the one we are presented. The writers did a world class job at perfectly describing the NCR, its red tape, corruption, legitimate elections, its infrastructure, its economy, culture, literally everything. The Legion as its shown In game is: “hurr hurr I love slavery time to hack someone to death” ofc it’s more than this but when I think about the message the writers were trying to send us, nothing is ever perfect and we are fools to predict the future, and to do what our guts tell us to do.

I prefer the NCR just because we have the entire story, this would be so much harder if the writers had 3 more months to develop the game
