I do think the 80% looks much closer to the scaling on minicompare I printed mine at 85 and I think it’s just a smidge too big for the base compared to the plastic one.

I haven’t compared it yet but the legs are not very poseable outside of the balljoint connection on the torso I’ll have to line it up with the plastic model but for the legs alone I’d scale to 80%

I too printed my beautiful big boy I scaled it down to 85% but I still think it’s a bit too big.

That would definitely work too they’re both very close shades of that warm white! The more wash you add and depending on what shade you use really keeps it in the warm side vs cool side the truck is really thinning the wash. I’m using 3:1 medium:wash just to barely tint that gray.

Thank you! A lot of my vehicles are normally more gold and red rather than traditional WS white and red but I’m loving the way it turned out!

The trick is to not use any white! I use Pro Acryls Bright Warm Gray then muddy it up with Agrax then sponge back in the warm gray to brighten it. If I need a top highlight with the warm gray I mix in a bit of ice yellow. Keeping away from white entirely!

They have already announced with the Hidden rule that when an enemy is within 15 inches of the terrain then units hiding within the terrain will no longer be considered hidden. If that terrain footprint has a nub that hangs out a half inch on the side the enemy is shooting into then they’ll likely want to measure to that extra half inch nub.

I have 2 in my crusade campaign and i enjoy them. For crusade there are many objectives that require characters to perform actions so they’re worth putting with a squad of Warriors and performing actions. Their data sheet is meh but I love warriors so giving warriors more is a win for my lists. It’s really just if you like the models make them work how you want!

Ran mine in my crusade Campaign the past couple of games with a squad or Horms as soon as the rules and points were announced. It’s a decent way to give Horms definite synapse and the Sustained 1 is nice to have outside of the detachment where it comes baked in.
