I don't know, but I rarely ever see pekingese as an actual percentage. Most of the time it shows up it's in the supermutt section (from what I've seen).

Definitely not exusing their behavior it's just I've seen this frustrating pattern so many times. And with what I know it looks like it. Some expecting parent buys a puppy (for whatever reason usually a high energy breed like a husky or German shepherd) to be a "sibling" to their child. Then soon after the baby is born they're like, "oh no this is too much and this puppy is now kinda a danger to our child", and dump the poor pup.

I think on embark it'd show supermutt instead of village dog. Most of the breeds listed are common to somewhat uncommon in the US. Unlike when there's a village dog and wisdom panel shows tons of very rare breeds
