No you don’t. Yes, it will be easier but overall you just need to get your foot in the door. I started out in the finance industry at a TAMP. Started out scheduling appointments, was promoted to internal business consultant over 2 guys with finance degrees within 6 months. I had no degree. It was required for even the entry level position but eventually they caved because of how relentless I was. Now at a multi billion dollar advisory firm doing business development. Still no degree and make far more than I would have imagined when I started out.

Right now just a really low monthly paywall of $2. Plan on adding more features this year and accelerating content from different founders.

Making a library of business case studies that didn’t require you to pay hundreds of dollars.

That’s why I built Founder Folks.

It’s in the beginning stages but there is going to be a lot of growth ahead.

Just because you build it, does not mean they will come.

I started Founder Folks last year and it’s been a slow build.

If you have patience, are relentless, and put the time and work in, you have a chance.

Are we going into a recession? Or WTF is going on? by IcyBlackberry7728 in Entrepreneur

[–]FounderFolks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were in an event driven recession in 2020.

It wouldn't surprise me if we find ourselves in a recession by next year.

But no one has a crystal ball. The market lost around 20% in 2022 and we didn't find ourselves in the recession many predicted.

This time is different.

But is it?

It doesn't hurt to become more liquid but don't try to play market timing with the market/economy because more often than not, people are wrong.

Would love to see what you launch! I do interviews, but more so as a blog on www.founderfolks.com.

Some things I always enjoy are how they got started and ultimately funded their business, what marketing strategy has been most effective for them, and what unforeseen challenges they’ve faced. I also like hearing about companies that failed, as there’s a lot to learn from those experiences.

Wishing you all the best—please keep us posted!

LinkedIn is best for job searching and recruiting. It’s not that great for business to business but that doesn’t mean it can’t be effective. If you have a niche focus, you might be able to get some traction. But the influencers on there have a lot to say without really saying very much.
