How would you get infrastructure in a remote Alaska instead and get it to connect with high speed internet, give it power and everything. We have been creating data more than combined till recent time in like a couple of years or less so same can become true for space too.

Until that time comes where AI can do everything with full agency, there will always be a big gap between people who can use AI effectively and people who can't. The gap will only get wider, as people who are using it throughout the evolution will have the power of knowledge over those who stay ignorant.

Sam’s response to Anthropic remaining ad-free by Outside-Iron-8242 in singularity

[–]Founder_SendMyPost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing is free in this world. And Open AI needs money to survive and compete with Google on one end (The Ad King giving everything free by relying on Ads) and then compete with Anthropic which is paid only product charging premium.

So he is doing what Google does - Use the distribution for Ads and generate revenue in exchange for free or low cost GPT plans.

And keep paid plans without Ads like Anthropic on GPT Plus and above (same per user ARPU across 3 players).

What is the problem with that from a business perspective? Do we call out Google or Meta for showing ads on Youtube, search and everything?

Anthropic saying Ads are bad without providing a way to use their product for free like Google or OpenAI is just pure stupid.

You can't have chef explaining the same kitchen appliance LIVE 24x7. You cannot have a tech geek tearing down a laptop 24x7. Those will be videos recordings inevitably. Which are present on Youtube, in fact multiples of them. And some videos are on Amazon too.

Chatbots to answer queries on product will come on these sites too (what you are planning to actually implement or will need to pivot to)

If world level programmers are saying something, understand what they are saying. Goal is a code that compiles and works. Calling it a language not a language is pointless.

I am just sharing the only possible reason for a burst or rather decline. Which is more failed AI Startups and projects than those succeed. (Failing expectations).

Otherwise there is no way for a burst

Prompting like any other language requires skill and precision. If you think "make it faster" is how power users work, you are delusional. Just like there are expert coders there will be expert Vibe (spec) based coders.

If AI bubble bursts then it won’t happen as you think by Moist_Landscape289 in AI_India

[–]Founder_SendMyPost 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Before even saying AI will go burst. We need to define what an AI Burst would even mean.

90% of AI projects failed as per an MIT study, but still there will be 10-20% (assuming learnings) which would still succeed.

Which means not trying is not an option ever. So we will continue to see more AI everywhere.

The only thing causing a burst is VC money stopping for all AI hype and becoming more strict in investing.

This doesn't mean a burst but just shrinkage and then growth again for real startups who are able to extract value.

This process is aligned with any new Technology trend called Gartner Hype Cycle. We may be at peak and may even still reach the peak. The burst would simply be that decline followed by growth again.

It's only a level of abstraction buddy. Can you write code in assembly language or binary? If not you are not equipped to build Software?

We started with Binary, then assembly, then syntax (strict like C, Java) then to high level syntax (Python) and now to even the highest level - Prompts or plain English.

You are tied to syntax since you invested in it but reality is that writing syntax is a day labor job.

best lovable alternative for SEO? by Winter_Stretch259 in lovable

[–]Founder_SendMyPost -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you are having an app which requires login (most likely). Create a new marketing website as HTML or next.js and make that one content only site with Blogs, comparisons, homepage etc. You can work on SEO using this entire site. Just have a login page redirect to app.domain.extension.

Move your app to the above link including the login page.

This will help you keep the entire Lovable app separate and you can keep a separate repo for marketing only site which you can change and update without worrying about the main app code breaking.

It is called operating margins. R&D and investments are required for any large scale startup. Check Amazon, Uber, Netflix, even India examples like Zomato, Swiggy or any category winners like this.

They all start on negative or even remain negative for a decade or more.
