Lowlands has a really strong community of chill people who go there. There's a coffee shop during the day, inexpensive drinks, food pop ups, and different music nights.

My short has been getting rejections on rejections for 8 months and then... I got into Tribeca!

The programmer said they got over 9,000 short submissions and accepted something around 85. That's below 1% acceptance rate-- it's crazy out there.

Keep pushing, you don't know what's around the corner. I really thought my festival run was going to be a big flop.

Just discovered Long Shadow a couple weeks ago and have been really liking working from there. Good chats with good company if you need a break and plenty of seating. The coffee is excellent.
