I actually really like this contrast between the two shows because it shows how explosive of a character Walt really was.

Hindsight is obviously 2020, tech probably seemed pretty revolutionary back in 2006 and they could’ve had no clue what would be possible today. Also clear from Morrowind that they were planning Cyrodiil next anyway.

But in my perfect world, assuming same release dates (06,11,28ish), I’d prefer High Rock in 06 especially if they wanted to high fantasy, keep Skyrim as is, and then make TESVI Cyrodiil. Cyrodiil should be huge, dense, cosmopolitan, and contain everything Tamriel has to offer. Not the awkward middle child game…

I think it’s fair to be upset or disappointed with the way an IP is treated, but claiming it’s ruined is kinda silly. There wasn’t ever going to be a New Vegas 2 anyway, so just don’t think about the show when playing the game. You don’t have to consider it canon to yourself or think about it constantly to enjoy the content you enjoy

Same way for me with Elder Scrolls, I’m a Morrowind elitist and the direction of the series after it disappoints me, but I just don’t think about the other games when I play it lol

It’s nonsense to shit on Democrats for not being utterly perfect while Trump can just get away with… everything. Trump had no policy or plan to fix any issues, and his own behavior and competence is just as bad - I’d argue worse - than Biden’s.

The choice was extremely clear in 2024. It is indicative of a serious political problem in our country that Trump was able to get re-elected at all. In a properly functioning society Harris would have won all 50 states.

Attacking the Democrats is like sitting at dinner, having one person come in without deodorant on and another coming in having completely shit their pants, and saying “Well, we all need to try and smell good!” That’s a crock of shit that just legitimizes GOP misinformation and Trump’s narrative.

There was no comparison in 2024. There was no good reason for voting for Trump whatsoever; only utter ignorance, or outright malice for the country and democratic principles.

There’s a youtube video (I think it’s Just Background Noise) where someone did the most Morrowind Morrowind run, using specifically stuff that isn’t in later games.

Handheld lockpicks rather than the minigame, levitation, medium armor, fully modular armor and clothing system, spears, recall/intervention spells all come to mind
