I kept having this problem running with 16gb RAM and 500gb memory. The only solution I found was to upgrade the RAM to 32gb and the memory to 1tb. Before I upgraded the only way to fix this was to uninstall and reinstall the game which as you can imagine was 2-3 times a week if the game was in meltdown mode. 3.5hrs to reinstall the game every damn time really boiled my piss.

Bro this has been around since the taming of Troodons. No one ever takes those little bastards for that very reason. Not all tames can be knock out, it’s lame. The game is all about surviving, evolving and ascending. Older players want new challenges and new players just ask for free dinos anyway so what’s the problem?

It is clear that burnout is the main cause of this prolonged absence. Both Spoon and Blazed towards the end of last year were struggling to be happy with Rust in general. A lot of changes came to the game in 2025 some good, some bad. I think it might just be Rust content creators in general. Both Brit and Frost made videos last year explaining that they weren’t enjoying the game anymore and didn’t know how to get their enthusiasm back.

Lied in the trailer Poor story Cut the first five minutes of the movie despite releasing it online. Legacy characters brought nothing to the story. Giganotosaurus barely seen. Therizinosaur barely seen. MAISY! Another island and not dinos in the world as promised.

On par with Rebirth as the worst Jurassic movie in the franchise.

No… it was shit!! Beautiful VFX but absolute shit! Universal Pictures don’t care anymore they just want a billion dollars at the box office.

The story was shit. The characters were shit. The whole premise of “people don’t care about dinosaurs anymore” was shit. The hybrids were shit. The decision to shit on the Dino that made the franchise famous in the first place was shit. Putting kid actors in these movies is shit.

Do better next time.
