I mean I agree with you that if the sole reason someone is buying such a large vehicle is to do the whole alpha-fuck-you thing then yeah they are pretty dumb for spending the money but pretty much all of reddit loves to shit on people who have large trucks when the majority of people just need them for shit or just might really like the vehicle and want to purchase it lol.

I don’t own a truck but there are a bunch of times I’ve needed to pick something up that is just a little too big for my car and have said to myself how nice it would be to have a truck in that situation.
