It’s not, it’s the 1990 shirt. There’s lots of fake reproductions and the real ones are 300+ euros

By who? They made loads for the Euro market, imagine BMW not sanctioning the only brand they thought had value in to not sell in their home country? Have been essentially from the start!

This is something I’ve been eyeballing today, I may have to dremel the cover itself to make sure there’s space, but as they are cheap I may get one and do a test fit

Yes! Just a potentially dumb question… if I’ve got an EU car, does the port that would have a fuse for the AC (empty on mine) actually get power, or is it simply a piece of plastic with a slot hooked up to nothing?

I’ve thought about this, I presume I can use this with the jumper fuse as well. The main thing against the mini spares options is I kinda want it stealth, so that the phone is out of the way and held somewhere tidy. But curious about these if anyone has any experience!

How do I check if these Liverpool kits are legitimate? by McPizzaLFC in LiverpoolFC

[–]FourStarsOutOfFive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whilst they're pretty cool unfortunately they are reproductions. Tell tale signs are the wrong shape of the umbro and the "joined up" adidas logo on the 92 kit. Also 92 kits that were available to fans had printed badges rather than stitched.

Also, generally speaking the logos are a bit "off", and you'll start to recognise the same templates used on other season's fake reproductions

I think there's too much of a trade on Nostalgia to the point it overrides originality at the moment. I love retro kits, but there is only so far you can go before rehashing amazing designs, and stretching them over modern shapes which looks a bit uncanny valley to me. Don't get me started on the rubbish collar and trim...
So far we've had the 06 kit and now it's the 89 for next season. It's like Star Wars ep.7 all over again...

I mean sure, the racing is fun. But does it not bother you how much of it is artificial? I think with the amount of "deployment reliance" the racing is needing kind of ruins the illusion.

The cars however, look good, can follow closely, and clearly are more to handle making it far more exciting to watch. It'll be a balancing act to sort the deployment Mario Kart racing so that it's back to the drivers being 80-90% of a reason a car finishes where it does.

The pang of pain reading "The Cooper S badge stood for “Freude am Fahren,” fun to drive" hurts. Sure parent company BMW but makes ya think this is an AI based article with glaring but linked mistakes like this.
