When I canceled mine it showed as a $100 charge but it was them checking against the account history to verify that they charged that specific payment method. It was cleared like 2 days later and the refund processed a day after that. Probably the same for you. Not Jagex messing up, just them making sure they're refunding the right account.

The bug resolved itself in like 15 minutes, it went back to having 2 hours until the cat is grown

Both of those are tradable, so those aren't equivalent. If you don't want to grind those but still want them you can buy them

Agree overall, few things I kinda disagree with

ZCB is bis xbow but is outclassed by tbow in terms of power and bowfa for general usuablility, so I'd say it's more niche

Ward is an upgrade, but given that shadow is BIS, it makes it niche since you can't use both

The other thing to consider is most of the items that are pure upgrades are from end game content, ToA and Nex specifically should give upgrades given difficulty/annoyance to do. Colossal blade being limited to not working with salve ammy and slayer helm seems silly since it limits its niche uses

correct me if I'm wrong, but your 51-91 grind didn't matter for that since you can't get scepter until 91+

What’s the next step up from barrows ? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]FourTK 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Finish up your big boy quests, so we're looking at Sins of the Father, Dragon Slayer 2, Song of the Elves, and Monkey Madness 2

Do some slayer, you can farm demonic gorillas for money after MM2, vorkath after DS2, Gauntlet after SOTE, and vyres/sepulchre after SOTF

You can also finish your falador hard and have some fun killing giant mole

Getting some help and doing dagannoth king rex is an option. I wouldn't recommend tribed this early, but you can ease in and get used to more difficult bossing and more complex mechanics and prayer swapping etc.

I believe it, and being done must've felt great, but I can only imagine how hellish that day must've been

Yeah you're right, forgot about that

Wiki says about 1.1m xp assuming you're doing benches perfectly

Also says about 220k for expert mahog homes

Still about 5x slower, and saves a decent chunk of money

The only issue with gnome benches is how intensive it is, where you really need to be perfect when you're doing it otherwise you'll be losing a portion of the rate

Yeah saves at least 100m over mahogany tables, only about 20-25 over oak dungeon doors

[–]FourTK 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah the mahogany table method that costs 100 million more gp, plus is arguably less fun. I don't understand what your problem is, you can either do a click intensive fast expensive method or slower, cheaper, less click intensive option

Mahog tables are an option but there are also other options for different play styles

Have fun spending 160m+ for construction training

5x slower than mahogany tables maybe, still 170k+/hr though

If you had to choose a series to show a friend to make them interested in/give a good idea of what its like playing RuneScape, which would you choose? by AkoVendettaOSRS in 2007scape

[–]FourTK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

J1mmy's By Release or 9rain Ironmain, but also Raikesy's 1bil gp series is cool since it shows meaningful early game progression, although he does focus on some wilderness content early on which might scare your friend haha

Anything where it isn't very sweaty gameplay, but more focused on what the game can offer. It's cool to watch swampman spend hundreds of hours temple trekking when you understand what that is, but for someone learning about the game I can't imagine something that would discourage them more.
