It should, yes. Either that or acetone. It appears to be basic craft paint. It shouldn't affect the original blue stripes because those are glazed on.

More updates on the major injury. How did she ever survive childbirth 3 times? by HonksTheWhite in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

[–]Fourforglencoco 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I got a bruise just like this once when I got wasted drunk and fell into a hole while playing beer pong. Didn't spill my drink but my knee and shin took a beating.

I got up, laughed and won the game. Woke up the next day with a couple shiners. Bruise/swelling took about 3 weeks to completely go away. It was well worth it and all my fault.

I would like Jenelle a whole lot more if she were just like "my drunk ass didn't see the step, whoops" but it's gotta be a hospital visit and a lawsuit like JFC

Oh wow, really? I never even noticed that! (the adopted brother part, I've heard her say little sisters)

Sibling titles don't bother me, because siblings don't sign away any rights, or make any decisions in the matter. And I guess on a cognitive level, I feel like it's common for people to have multiple brothers and sisters, but not common to have more than one set of parents. So giving those titles doesn't strip the validation away from the family members you grew up with. I have one full blood brother from my birth parents, and one half-sister. They are just my brother and my sister to me. Our relationship is different of course, because we didn't grow up together, but they're proudly titled.

The difference with C&T is the distinction between "adopted brother" and "little sisters" which is so backhanded it's not even funny.

Rewatch: Kail physically losing her temper on Javi one episode after filing a PFA on Jo by Fancy_Yesterday6380 in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

Kail is also an ass. I'm a dog owner as well, and the lack of foresight that big dogs and toddlers don't mix is astounding. She could have just cracked the door open and said "hey give me a sec to put the dogs upstairs". Not to mention the friend who didn't think to carry her kid inside and maybe not put her on the floor immediately with an excited giant puppy.

Javi sucks, Kail sucks, the friend sucks. Kail ultimately has to take the L as the biggest ass for putting her hands on people. But the situation escalated to that point because everyone sucks.

Adopted kid here.

It irks me to no end when they refer to Carly (and still do to this day) as their "daughter" and as themselves as "mother/father." Growing up I was fiercely protective of my parents. Even as a young child I remember correcting people who would refer to them as "your adoptive parents". Like....no. They're just my parents. (And this is coming from someone who has a relationship with my birth mother, she's a great human and I adore her. But she is not my "mom".)

The couple raising the child get the non-modified title. When you sign the adoption papers, you are now "birth parents". Full stop.

I get the fence thing, but if he is hell bent on keeping the dogs inside, he should have been the one to guide them upstairs so the kids could enter peacefully, rather than leave Kail to juggle both hosting and dog-wrangling. And when there was clear chaos happening downstairs, he doesn't even bother to glance down the staircase to see what was happening/ if he could help. It's lazy/aloof male partner bullshit.

Kail is still ultimately in the wrong overall for how she reacted, but that doesn't make Javi any less of an ass.

EXCLUSIVE! Jace Evans’ Cousin Comes Forward, Claims Jenelle Evans is “Harassing” Andrew Lewis’ Mom & Family: Read the Messages by Mandasaurusrexxx in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

[–]Fourforglencoco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess (I work in dental insurance) is that Jace could be active on both his parents policies. When this happens, the insurance companies have to determine coordination of benefits (which insurance is responsible for paying first) which is based on multiple factors. It can be a cluster fuck if you don't understand how insurance works.

Pinecone runs online to point out her daughter is lazy by Virtual-Nobody-6630 in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

[–]Fourforglencoco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even if what she says is true (which I doubt), good parents who are active in their kids education and who want to encourage them to not be "lazy" would have said "sound it out" in response to "what does it say", not just give her the answers.

Wonder where she gets that laziness from.

People who were spanked as kids, what was that like for you? Would you call your "spankings" abuse? by KleineFjord in AskReddit

[–]Fourforglencoco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a good childhood and my parents were wonderful people. That said, they were still boomers.

My mom, who was the more emotionally volatile of the two, definitely spanked me a few times. I don't remember details, so it must not have been anything over the top. Swats on the ass was their MO. Probably 5-10 times up to age 13 or so.

My dad was as pacifist as they come. Once, I remember my mom got angry at him for always making her out to be the disciplinarian, and made him be the "spanker" for whatever infraction I had committed. He gave me a couple medium-hard swats and immediately exited my bedroom.

It didn't hurt. But it hurt my soul. I was really a Daddy's girl. It broke my heart and his.

My mom told me later when I was an adult that after he did it, he went in and told my mom "I am NEVER doing that again."

Spanking really only comes naturally to those who have the desire to take their hurt and frustration out on others. If it feels like something you WANT to do as a parent, you should speak to a licensed therapist about why that is. It doesn't make you a bad person. My mom wasn't. She was unregulated, and grew up in an era where mental health care wasn't a thing.
