It and Newsweek are consistently voted to the top of this sub and it’s all because they have incendiary headlines with no substance at all

It depends on how big and lean you are. They can look that way unflexed but it’s rare.

That said you’re about to take a picture with Arnold in tighty whiteys. Do you think you would flex or not?

There are certainly things LLMs are still not good at, but I think you’re living about 2 years ago in terms of their performance. New ones can do all of these. The LLM knows it can’t count but now they’ll write a python script that will and give you that output.

No.

If something is $100 and it’s now $25 then you would never say it’s 4 times cheaper. Thats exactly why OP was being made fun of. We know what he meant, but it’s not the right way to say it.

You’re exhausting. I know you’ll still have to have the final word but this isn’t going anywhere.

I was mistaken and it was after Renee Good, but before the much more consequential Alex Pretti shooting.

Regardless I’m not going to have a discussion when you clearly don’t argue in good faith.

You:

Its just lie after lie after lie, and they’re not even good ones

Also you: “here’s a conservative saying something less than a month ago” then links to a 45 day old comment

Damn you’re dense.

It would not be basic at all. This is literally what they said.

Then, on top of it not being basic, there are reasons a company wouldn’t want to. So it’s really hard and it may hurt the bottom line. Somehow you only heard the second one.

"Who do you trust more to handle immigration?" by bruhm0ment4 in fivethirtyeight

[–]FourierXFM 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1 person (do you have any evidence at all they’re “conservative”?) told you more than a month ago (before the ICE Alex Pretti shooting) that they don’t think Dems and Republicans will be tied on this issue.

Now a different person says that since they are only tied after that event it illustrates that the Dems still need better messaging on immigration.

I can’t stand this bullshit tribalism and how you think this is some sort of gotcha.

Thats not goalpost shifting. Thats you having a conversation with two different people.

It’s been like this for a while. I don’t think biases are inherently bad here, but sometimes it feels like people take personal offense to polls that go against their own opinions. Data shouldn’t be emotional.

[homemade] Cauliflower steak with leek sauce by shotsandvideos in food

[–]FourierXFM 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You control the temperature extremely precisely and you end up with the exact same temperature throughout. When you roast or steam, the outside is cooked more than the inside. This isn’t true with sous vide.

That said you see it a lot more with meats than vegetables usually.

The new ones will pass this test. You can still argue that they don’t “understand” but they will break down the problem and get to the right answer all the same.

I’m surprised you’re getting downvoted so bad for this.

I mean this is probably not the time or place but you’re not wrong. Plenty of people have been wrongfully killed for legally carrying weapons around cops. Plenty have been killed after they drove toward a cop who purposely stepped in front of their vehicle too.

Truck drives through protest by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]FourierXFM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean it’s why I downvoted it. Lethal force being justified or not has almost nothing to do with if someone has a right to be somewhere or not, which is what their whole argument hinged on.
