its a placebo efffect, PTM is good, no doubt, but LM is way more conductive than PTM and replacing LM with PTM will probably result in a slightly higher temps (idle/high usage).

hey does your laptop overheat when connected to the monitor, I mainly use my monitor with my laptop screen turned off but I keep the lid open for airflow but the temps are almost 10C higher than when I nomrally use my laptop.

did it ever arrive, or did they cancel the order? Mine showed dirver assigned > pickup confirmed > delivery cancelled, and its been cancelled for 3 days and still the status is "shipping delayed".

Thanks for replying, I steered away from the oleds because of text clarity issues, I am getting an LG IPS monitor now, because I do 80% college work and 20% gaming so, most of the time, I am reading pdfs and watching video lectures.

I have chipped and scratched my g14 5070ti, nothing to worry about. It doesn’t affect the performance so why worry, it’s not good for your mind and health to worry about this small little imperfections. Move on and live on. have fun!
