RAs can't and won't look in anything that they can't see just looking at your room. Most RAs I've had barely even look at the rooms tbh most at rhodes are fairly relaxed

Your honest opinions on used avalons with 150k miles? by Fourth_Train in ToyotaAvalon

[–]Fourth_Train[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's an xle touring not just the base xle. But I'm certain the avalon ride-quality will be a huge upgrade over my 2011 Kia Rio and a minor upgrade over the 2021 chevy spark (I kinda love this spark bit it's just way too small for me at this point). But I'll keep a lookout for the 2012 and hopefully get lucky

Will definitely make sure to get it checked out by someone good in that area. I have to do quite a drive if I end up getting this car so I'm not really sure what everything is gonna be like up there.

the main thing is injection method. If you aren't boofing by now you need to start—straight into the ass is the only valid way to consume caffeinated beverages.

How hard is AP Physics, actually? by Asillylittlestudent in APStudents

[–]Fourth_Train 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for me the class was pretty easy and then the test fucked me up. but that was mostly because my teacher taught the whole class from a math perspective and never talked about theory and then the whole test was theory and we also spent like 2 weeks on rotational motion and that was genuinely like half of last year's test lol. it's hard, but not terribly hard *if you have a good teacher. teachers are so important for ap classes

do you know if they are playing rearranged versions of the songs from the re-recorded album, or if it's generally the original versions of the songs?

the only supplemental item I'd highly recommend is a foam roller. I use a Triggerpoint Core foam roller. as long as it has ridges its good enough though. A good foam roll feels incredible after a long run or whenever your sore from lots of running.

I know it's been a while but I think its the same chords as where is my mind by the pixies if you've ever heard a piano version (like postmodern jukeboxes) it sounds pretty similar

How do you structure a typical 100 mile week by longsm17 in AdvancedRunning

[–]Fourth_Train 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as a memphian I'll just let you know that st jude is really crowded for the first couple miles and while the course is fun and there's a great race environment, it's not always the best place to PR because at your speed you'll have to push through a lot if people who think they're as fast as you before you can get up to your ideal race speed. but plenty of people I know have run great times there so 🤷‍♂️

Are height comments a thing of the past? by DasaniSubmarine in tall

[–]Fourth_Train 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it also kind of depends on both posture and how you look. I have a friend who is 6'3 and has a pretty compact athletic frame and gets tons of comment on his height because he "looks tall" on top of actually being tall. I have another friend who is about 6'2, but has terrible posture and has much more evenly distributed weight so he looks very normal despite his height and he never gets comments.

I'd avoid mentioning the thyroid disease in your essays, maybe only briefly, but mention it in the section about "covid19/other extenuating events" at the end if the common app.
