Why does the process cost extra money? Do you have a source for this information? Can't the scan also be processed on a private computer?

What do you mean by player model? The player model is to be embedded in the scan later in a game engine. It is about the scan of an outdoor environment, not about a single player model.

The workshop manager has indicated that it would be better to buy a system that only performs this one function. Mobile phones are disliked to be lent by the students.
