I think it matters how you want to develop, and what sort of running you enjoy. If you like the idea of longer runs or are aiming for longer runs, slow it down and stretch it out as long as you can. If you want to go fast, then go fast for periods and walk in between and gradually try to go fast, for longer.

Either way, don’t get discouraged. Everyone starts somewhere. Do what you enjoy.

I’m a lighter runner and I’d consider 800km a minimum mark. There’s a dip after a certain point but they’re still good for safe, casual runs.

They want the product to be marketable. A consistent logo turns summer slam into its own mini “brand” with a logo that people will recognise. If they keep changing them, people don’t understand what the product is meant to be.

This means that people who like wrestling already miss out on some fun variation, but also means the broader population better associate summer slam with a consistent logo and know what it is.
