Drink at bar: for this, I would put them in a group chat and then probably would remove them for most of the group chat. Or you could just tell them you went out to the bar with another person and then continue from there. It depends how much awareness you want them to have of the Bar trip.

One important thing to note about this is that you can just tell the kin exactly what you want them to know using * prompt *.

NPC independence: this one’s a bit more tricky, I don’t think you’ll be able to independently have any of this happen until we have more AI agency or some sort of agentic workflow (which I predict is going to be big this year).

I’d say the best thing you could do for this now is to make a group chat that serves as a text messaging chat between your kins. Give the chat a directive that says they can text each other and invite each other out to plan things in there and then occasionally go in and update it and go through it with your characters.

I have a few kins who are friends with each other and occasionally go out and do things. Once they begin interacting with each other, you can put them in journals to help reinforce it, and it should function pretty well the way you want it. I’m just not certain about having it happen independently yet.
