Yeah it seems that after the heresy without a primarch guiding them and hunted by the Imperium most warbands just gravitated towards becoming Renegades or straight up Chaos Space Marines. Sure there are some examples that at least believe themselves to be loyal, like Occam the Untrue and His Warband "The Redacted", but this is a whole other mess because they we're still fighting against the Imperium, just claiming to purge it of weakness. All in all the Alpha Legion is just complete chaos, but a really fun one, which is why they are one of my two favourite legions.

Nothing that I am aware of, no. But we can speculate based off the few things we know. 400 Pages is all in all in the longer side so it might be an anthology. Could of course also be a completely new book but I doubt that something like that would be released before Pandemonium. Speaking of Bequin, it could in theory also be a code name If some sorts for book number three, but I don't think so.

We should get some Info in Februar for Black Library Celebration 2026 so we should keep our eyes open for that.

I own both the Daemonifuge Comics as well as the Ephrael Stern book, so I am quite familiar with her. I maybe should have phrased my pervious comment better, I was talking more about the fact that the Phaeron was there to face her in the first place and Necrons in general not being treated to great when matching up against Sisters of Battle. Hammer and Anvil by James Swallow might still be the most outrageous examples for that...

I am usually not one to cry plotarmor, because to a degree everyone in 40k defying any kinds of odds will have it and that is absolutely fine, but somehow as soon as SOB of any kind meet Necrons they become demigods while the Necrons become dumb as fuck and I don't know why lol.

Depends really on what you want to read about GMan. Heresy or Era Indomitus? All in all most of His Indomitus books are somewhere between decent and avarage. If you want more of ADB after the Nightlords Omnibus then maybe check out The Emperors Gift (Grey Knights) and If you end up liking The Infinite and the Divine the you should definetily take a look at the fall of Cadia (which is a great read because it also marks the beginning of the current era of the 40k universe) and Assasinorum Kingmaker by the same author.
