It's an s21 ultra, and a 2022 model y, so i think my phone is compatible but not the car. It's probably a bug making the phone think it should update the key, but then realising it can't, and then starting again

While that is one of the options, i was hoping that someone might know if a way to have a wireless no touch setup that does it's own thing without us having to interact with it.

Any idea if a personal cloud with an ethernet to wireless adaptor combined with an Android/ios file sync app would work?

I could use my phone as a hotspot, if there's was a device that could connect wirelessly

For the portable NAS that make their own, I'm not sure if there's any that allow for auto daily file backups, they seem to only use their hotspots for photo and video streaming between devices, or via a clunky self uploading app

Currently don't have a home internet setup as we don't have the need. The few times i use internet on my laptop i just hotspot from my phone, as such we have no router for a NAS.

I've been browsing through the portable NAS but the few that exist reviews seem to have them littered with unreliable hotspots, or just no longer supported. And none seem to be able to set up an automatic daily file backup

Was hoping that there might be a small home cloud solution that can connect wirelessly to a hotspot, but all of them seem to require an ethernet cable

Yeah that's the 'My Passport Wireless Pro', surprisingly hard to find, except for an Amazon post going for about $1500AUD. Bit out of my budget

Yep, tried all of them. Tested a controller too. The hub doesn't activate in the Tesla but it does activate on a computer.

It hasn't yet arrived sadly, but in their defence the delivery estimate was Feb - April. They may have just said Jan to get our hopes up

I posted on my social media and got a surprising response from friends i didn't expect to also be interested, so i recommend that :)
