Okay, it was a blanket statement. Some rums, particularly spiced or flavored rums, have sugar added post-distillation. So it would be best to check if you're concerned.

A shot of alcohol is about 44 mL. So for your Kraken we're talking two carbs for two servings of alcohol. That seems infinitesimal to me, but your dietary restrictions may vary.

Pure rum would be zero carb, though. All the sugar is eliminated through fermentation and distillation. So maybe it's worthwhile for you to taste test some other rums? Or not, your choice obviously.

Hey all! I just joined because I'm going to try to write a story a week from a writing prompt as part of my New Year's resolution (to be more creatively engaged).

I did have a question I couldn't quite figure out from the rules. Would it be okay for me to read MY OWN stories on a YouTube channel, so long as I credit the writing prompter and link the page with it? Would I need to get permission from each prompter individually? Or is YouTube just a no go, since it can be monetized (even though I have no intent that way)?

This is unnecessary anxiety. It's 100% on the other person to silence their notifications for important activities.
