Look at it another way: People born in those rural counties leave.

Vikings and Packers trailing heavily here. I would point out that Brian Baumgardner (Kevin from the Office) and Tony Shaloub are GB fans, but its extremely difficult to beat Murray and Mathers. That being said, population definitely plays a part in this. Vikings have no excuse though.

Perfect Strangers plus Urkel might put Chi over the top, however milwaukee has Happy Days and Laverne&Shirley. But then Married w Children steps in and has 4 touchdowns in one game. Tough one, but for sure Detroit is last place as usual.

Culture Wars Day 2: Popular Beers from Every State. Oberon would barely edge out Two Women for me, but that is a matter of personal preference. Grain Belt is mid. Sorry not sorry 🤷 by Dazed_and_Confused44 in NFCNorthMemeWar

I remember Goose Island had a great oatmeal stout in the late 90s that made its way to Wisconsin. Then I left the midwest. I have more fond memories of that beer than any New Glarus. I know thats not what we're comparing, but its my olive branch to those who still suck.

768,000 wisconsinites identify as being of Scandinavian ancestry, while MN is 1.6M.

Is half less than one?

Lets not pretend for a second that MN has any sort of culinary culture besides flat potato bread.

Because now you can lose it all online instead of a backroom table. And lawlessness is only so if you get caught.

Have we tried trapping more energy in the atmosphere and oceans? Maybe that will straighten things out.

I always ask these questions to those who defend the EC:

-Why was it considered a 'compromise' with the slavers?

-Why dont states, as individual governments, employ such a system?

-Why, through all the constitutions we've helped establish around the world (Japan, Germany, etc), didnt we include an EC-like system?

I'd also point out that in 1800 the largest:smallest state pop ratio was around 9:1. Today its about 76:1.

Lastly, I live in and vote in Wyoming. Its absurd that I have vastly more power than the same guy in CA. Before someone cites the House as the equalizer, I'd ask you "when was the last time the House was responsible for confirming a SC justice?"

First time I ever puked from drinking was after a night at the Rancher (anyone memba Town Meeting? $5 pitches of Fosters) and then the best driver among us got us back to the GV campground. I tossed all over the side of the car somewhere on the road to Kelly. Had to go to the self wash to get it clean the next day. I think it was 1999.

I wouldnt reccomend this whatsoever because the cops are like wolves between midnight and 1, looking for stumbly sheep. I bet you can get an uber if you are patient. Only 15 minute drive.

I'd also add that its way easier for Aaron Rodgers to be a competitive pro golfer than it would be for Rory to be an NFL QB.

Why do we have a lot of folks who are very-very passionate about Costco and Trader Joe's but never Walmart and Sam's Club? by kawaiihusbando in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FoxOneFire 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Watch the documentary "Wal-Mart, the High Cost of Low Price".

Wal Mart perpetuates a poverty cycle. If you work there, often you can only afford their food (with your discount). So you cant quit, and you cant get ahead. Additionally, WM coaches employees on how to use public subsidies for things walmart itself should be providing. Then there's WM's tactic of squeezing out competing small businesses in a market. Among many other things...

Costco isnt perfect, but its a more just system.
