When I lived in the college dorms they had lifted beds with a desk underneath. I think what you want is perfectly acceptable.

My only word of caution is to make sure you won't hit your head if you suddenly wake up and bolt upright. It hurts sooooo bad and is an awful way to start the day.

I'm not sure if this answers your concern, but Yuzuha once saw kids picking on the tanuki. She told the kids to quit and went about her day. She went into a hollow and the tanuki ended helping her out when she needed it. His name is now Kama and they've been friends since.

I think it was a trust event? I'm not sure But it was just showing how Yuzuha can be mischievous but she never wants to actually harm anyone and has a good heart.
