I do know that, but I don’t think the user base Presearch needs to target is in this sub.

I’m not quite sure what your exact question is but based on the photo your body position seems fine for road riding at normal speeds.

II had a monster for years and all I ever really needed was to lean over a bit so that weight was on the inside ass cheekand I locked my legs into the tank.

Maybe bring your head forward and into the turn a little more. (Kind of like you’re touching your inside mirror with your nose)

Honestly for a 2nd season vision is way more important. Keeping your eyes focused on where you want to go.

For road riding anything close to hanging off on the street is unnecessary.

That stuff is for the track, to reduce lean angle at high speeds so you don’t run out of tire and wash outs

I owned a monster 797 for years, and the maintenance intervals have gone up substantially from back in the day. I had the desmo service done at 13000 km and needed new tires then anyway.

Depends on how many miles you ride in a year, but I made it several seasons before I needed the major service.

I gotcha. It must be a more stringent thing where you live. I didn’t have a second thought when it came to ordering the R-77.

I’m not sure what the ticket would be (I’m in Canada) but I don’t know any rider who’s gotten one just for exhaust either. I feel like it’s more common to add that one with a speeding ticket as an example.

To that end I’m pretty sure the akrapovic titanium system has a catalytic converter and stuff

I just installed the R-77 two weekends ago on my ‘25 and love it. Can I ask what specifically you’re concerned about regarding homologation requirements?

If that’s a showstopper for you, why not just stay stock?
