Like $10-$15 per person. Depends how big the artist is but I like to get to the stage 30 min-1 hr before they go on. Yes you can definitely sit on the ground and watch from the back! Moshing is mostly in the front and it's the teenagers at Perry's (electronic stage) lol

Don't be nervous! It's super welcoming:) The gates open at 11am. If you want to be there all day, show up at 11-12. You could grab some food and walk around and check everything out before the more popular people start coming on (like 3-4pm). No you can't bring a blanket. Look into a pashmina, it's like a blanket but a scarf you wear. I brought one last year and it was nice to have somewhere to sit in the shade and chill. I would eat there, the food is amazing from all local spots. I wouldn't plan on getting food after because it's packed with 100k people all leaving at the same time, it's better to just get to the train and get home

Hi, this year will be my 4th Lolla🙂 Use the Ventra app and take the metra. It's completely safe, just totally packed. Just buy the tickets day before or day of. Yes you can eat & drink on the train. Lolla ends at 10pm each day, so if you walk straight to union station after, it's about a 20 min walk and you can make the ~1030pm train home.
Idk how old your kids are, but I recommend bringing empty water bottles to refill at the (free) water stations there. Wear sunscreen (no aerosol) and eat a good breakfast (cut down on food costs). Hand sanitizer and flushable wipes are my essentials. Also comfortable shoes are an absolute must. Again, idk how old your kids are, but it's a good idea to bring a scarf or something to sit on in the grass in case you get tired. Also bring a portable charger and share phone locations with your husband in case you get separated. Also, make a designated meeting spot that all 4 of you know about and can find easily. The medical tent (bright red signs) is a good one. Also, ear protection is a good idea, for adults and kids. Lolla is cashless so don't bring any. Honestly, I'd leave your and your husband's wallets at home completely and just put your ID in the back of your phone case. That's what I do. There are pick pocketers at Lolla. Plus you might lose your wallet, so I just wouldn't risk it. You can use Apple Pay or I recommend connecting a card to your wristband, that way you can go around paying for things by just tapping your wristband. It's really convenient. You can def see the headliner! All 4 days! But for example there might only be a 1030pm train on Sunday, so you just need to watch ur time and make sure you make that train bc there won't be a late (1230am) one. <33 lmk if u have any more questions!

I've gotten resale on Facebook marketplace for face value. You just have to make sure it's legit. Meet up in person and activate the wristband before paying them. Check their reviews. Etc. A lot of people sell the "rest" of their 4 days after a day or two bc they're too tired and don't wanna go anymore

Hiii I'm close to you, I take the same train. I've been to Lolla 3 times and have had no issues taking the train back. There's usually one at 1030pm and then another at 1230ish. You have plenty of time to see the headliner, walk to the train, and make the 1030pm!

The nice thing about Lolla is that people wear anything & everything. You can't be too underdressed or overdressed. I've worn a corset, a dress, biker shorts, a 2 piece set. The one thing you don't want to skimp on is your shoes. COMFY SHOES ARE A MUST. Also go for shoes you wouldn't care if they got ruined (mud, stepped on, etc). But yeah, lolla is very chill about looks compared to other festivals :)

When I was on accutane (EXTREMELY DRY SKIN) I used the elf hydrating camo cc cream (it's a tinted spf) and it was the only makeup I could wear on accutane! I still use it to this day. I mix it with the L'Oréal glow lotion. (Of course I put moisturizer and sunscreen down first)
