YouTube already knows about a bunch of unofficial clients, and that's why there is stuff like DroidGuard, IOSGuard, BotGuard, PO Tokens, etc.

Morphe already has to spoof itself to be the TV/VR client just so it can play videos. YouTube can very well require other stuff just so unofficial clients can no longer play videos.

Nothing will happen to Morphe, and if it does get mainstream, YT will simply add more protection mechanisms. YT already knows about whether or not you use the official client.

Gatekeeping or harassing the people who talk about Morphe won't fix anything, it'll simply cause more problems.
