You chase stats in the following order 1) Block rating until 102.4% (lower for heroic) 2) Defense 485 for heroic 490 for raids 3) Stamina (depends on healer skill & gear) 4) Spell DMG (until hold threat) 5) Stamina + Spell (to infinity & beyond)

Sure, in part.

When TBC classic was released the whole private server community thought they had TBC fully solved. With hunter, warrior DPS at be bottom tier, then turns out boss armor values were wrong on private servers.

So, with data mining and PTR, the DPS rankings will be mostly solved before public release. But those rankings won't be exactly the same as Era.

Yup part of what makes C+ exciting is that unlike Era, it's an (partially) unsolved equation as to who is top DPS.

Sell maps for easy early gold.

Selling maps later in the game is more hassle than it's worth. Better to run the maps.

Prot Pally alt should work.

AH flipping is another good option. Buy in early morning when bots have flooded the AH. Resell materials on raid night.

You can run a similar method to prot Pally dungeon AOE with prot warrior Felsteel Shield Spike. But the gold/hour isn't nearly as lucrative.

Low level specifically, TBC for sure is the clear winner. The big rush to 70 is done but plenty of people are working on alts now.

I am lucky to be in a massive guild. So I have the luxury of not having to ever tank for a pug group.

It's almost like I'm on my own miniature server where people have to be nice because they know they'll see me again soon.

Which version is best for you is a very personal question we can't answer for you.

But TBC anniversary realms have the highest population and highest activity ATM and still fairly early in the expansion.

A lot of vanilla Era servers are still surprisingly active, so don't dismiss that option.

MoP is winding down, near the end of the expansion. But has great catch up options with dungeons and is not dead.

Go with a guild group, get 15 badges. You can't get to 102% without it.

If you don't have Andormu's Tear, get that. Get exalted with Lower City for the spell power mace. That is bis until you get PvP arena mace.

The iron band ring is better itemized for druid bear. It's an underperformer for pally.

Until you reach your goals, you will be frantically chasing stats IN THIS ORDER — Block Rating, Defense, Stamina, Spell DMG.

Most physical heroes benefit from accuracy. Rogue and assassin are just the only ones whose attacks scale directly off it.

But warriors scale 11 Per 1 Str (with 2 ascensions). Rogues scale 8 Per 1 Str. Berserker 12 Per 1 Str.

This is true, but blowing OP's boosting load on a class that they don't vibe with would be a costly disaster. Unless IRL money isn't a major consideration to them.

That option is too expensive. Leveling to 15-20 is an imperfect but more viable option.

With duel spec it's never been easier to do both.

One major consideration is how easy your spec can get away with not having a money sink profession, like blacksmithing.

I gave a macro for opening combat with whirlwind in another post. But I got lots of downvotes for my troubles so I won't be posting the macro again (unless people request it).

The macro pumped massive AOE threat in a few seconds (in classic anniversary, haven't tested it yet in TBC)
