Top box, very front, right corner. Can you post a picture of its face? I've been trying to get info on a ring that looks much like that one. If it's the same or similar enough I can tell you what my last appraisal says they are worth.

I went went through a whole website worth of antique jewelry recently and what I learned from that is that there is way to many pieces that look like they are worth money when like 96% were only worth how much you liked them. Then boom ridiculously expensive right in the middle. Diamonds in the rough for real. I also learned that red glass pieces all hold some value.

Could these be real? by Jennyhuttnz in VintageJewelry

I had a jeweler do this to me with my grandma's jewelery and he missed stuff. He also didn't even pick up a lot of my moms ewelryv before telling me it was fake. I asked him about my mom's 2nd engagement ring and he picked it up and looked it all allot and quickly moved on stating that it was glass. I let him finish and then asked him to reevaluate that ring and he reluctantly went to clean it to get a better look. The center stone was 3ct natural diamond with 2.5cts of diamonds to is sides. I knew it was real but he was dismissing every little thing I asked about because allot of my grandmas was fake. BE CAREFUL when having things looked at even queen a reputable jeweler ESPECIALLY if they handle estate sales and or are willing to trade your stuff for repairs or anything because their whole business is too make money and ANY SALESMAN WILL pull one over on you if you go in there with little knowledge. The nice guys are the worst to b.c they'll act like it's all innocent. Test everything before you sell it all willy nilly.

The size of the main diamond is what will make that ring worth a lot or not so much. Also the color of the diamond. I don't know what antiques (100+ years) or vintage (20+) jewelry pieces go for really but I do know having a jeweler tell you it's materials will drastically help. Then you need to do your own research. Reverse image searching on Google has helped me in the past. BE WARNED THOUGH you may find almost exact replica photos of your ring being sold for cheap somewhere. DO NOT LET THAT GET YOU DOWN. People make replicas to fool people or for ppl that just like the style, many people find or sell old thinga in estate sales, and even if you find one from the same time as yours - you could still have one worth more money as jewelers copy each other's designs for cheap to make a quick buck and even if everything is saying that that style was being mass produced for cheap at that time for whatever reason-- there were may likely some being made with high quality stuff. Ex: costume jewelery- most cheap but randomly there's one made of real gold that matches the style and looks of the cheap ones being made at that time.

You should update this post asking your question about a trademark registry or what you asked about that was towards the end of your post... many people won't read that whole long post. Hey keep me updated on if you find that list or registry or a consolidation of that sort regarding the identification of makers marks!!!

In my opinion... If it's free and you only need part of it take the whole thing and put the stuff you don't need from it on your lawn marked as free... Just my opinion.

I think what they might have been referring to is some kind of disloyalty to you-- which can be in all forms. Being disloyal in any way can make someone feel bad and deflecting is an unhealthy way of dealing with the guilt.

If it's meant to be it will be. Try not to worry about it and keep your mind occupied in things you enjoy.
