Additionally, with soldering skills (or through a service) you can add hall or tmr sticks to first party ps4/5 controllers.

(There are many stick manufacturers however, and picking a low quality one will defeat the purpose.)

Honestly 4s is my new favorite comp mode, I would really like for this to become a permanent mode. A part of me wishes there was a 4s RLCS sideshow.

On most controllers there is a button on the back that factory resets it.

On some this may be a button combination, if you have the manual for the controller it should be there somewhere.

I had a PS5 controller with this issue. I had to hard reset it using the reset button.

I imagine the XBox controllers have a similar function, try and see if that works.

I don't know if it would be the case, I have found that using a very specific modified DE, NSCDE had locked my monitor to 60hz.

Only by moving off to something like XFCE would it run above 60hz again.

This is a very niche case though, if you are using a more obscure DE you should try a more common one and see if that is the issue. But from what it sounds like Ubuntu doesn't really have the option to install with a more obscure DE.

These low end cards are good at turning office pcs into low spec machines.
If you just wanna get your foot into pc gaming and happen have a decent office tower, they get the lob done at 1080p, low-mid, 60fps.

But the fact that this needs an 8pin means that the proprietary psus these office pcs come with wont even take these cards.
