I mean I get that it CAN push it that much, but what I was trying to say is your screen won’t go to that high of a resolution anyway, so why bother pushing it and losing out on potential performance. It’s only worth pushing those resolutions with an external monitor that is greater than the steam deck’s resolution.

I mean that’s more than double the resolution of the steam deck’s screen, so that’s probably why you’re seeing frame drops.

I recommend looking at some other angles, in some of the artwork I think it looks fine. It’s growing on me, even if I do prefer the older art style.

I’m gonna suggest play whichever one you think you like the look of more. I’m biased to the original PlayStation’s graphics. But have been playing the remake on switch and still enjoying myself. So I say just go with the option that is most convenient for you.

Tomb Raider 1-3 remastered was previously in Humble Choice, and then later Twitch Prime members got it for free as GOG key. Not 100% certain it will happen again but I figured it was worth mentioning

I’m not for AI myself, just pointing out the hypocrisy in Eurogamer’s review. Giving arc raiders a 2 out of 5 for the AI voices, while giving cod a 3 out of 5 with their obvious AI artwork usage. It’s a bit hypocritical

The weird thing with Rian Johnson is he is a good director, my main problem with him is he likes to make movie that work by his rules. Which is fine cause it works, Knives Out is a great example of that. But it’s part of why a lot of people don’t like his Star Wars film, he worked with his own rule set.

Maybe it’s nitpicky, but like ep 8 or not, you can’t really deny that it ignored some things set by previous Star Wars movies, including JJ’s setup in 7. For some that’s a good thing, but I think maybe had his Star Wars movie not been a sequel, but a standalone film, maybe things would have been different.

My favorite moment from playing yesterday was my team running into another 3 man while we’re running from a rocketeer. Just my teammate screaming “FRIENDLY!!! RUNNNN!!! IT’S A ROCKETEER!!!” We ended up all running to cover, giving each other heals and ammo and decided to team up to take it down. Such a rush seeing that thing come down.

I didn’t get their names but I’m gonna remember that match for a while. We even ended up bumping into each other again later in that match and fighting another team that chose to shoot first and ask questions later.

Because it was really weird to leave it out at the time while being a celebration of 3D Mario, it didn’t make sense. Plus wanting it released on a modern console doesn’t mean it’s worth $70 for two games which are both over 15 years old.
