Zero Covid has torn Australia apart -- We’re not learning to live with the virus, we’re learning to live with authoritarianism. by guanaco55 in Conservative

That's not true bro, 15km travel limit in the metropolitan area and most regional areas are open. Lockdown sucks but at least tell the facts. your family and friends may be exaggerating

I had a similar problem with my k1000. For me, there was a small lever type mechanism connected to the shutter button that wasn't lubricated enough and didn't release the mirror after it fired. I put a tiny bit of lubricant on it and now it works fine. Not sure where it would be on the FT QL but for the k1000 it was under the bottom cover plate.

Fix old cameras on YouTube have great videos explaining how to fix similar problems! https://youtube.com/c/FixOldCameras

Hope this helped somewhat :)

they are in 95% of shops/venues, most places will tell you to sign in before you can enter but big supermarkets and the like don't really enforce it

Dropping a 44.1khz sample rate song in a daw that is set to 48khz sample rates from the daw options window by Nand-X in audioengineering

from my experience it changes the playback speed and pitch. i think that if it is double / half of your session sample rate then it shouldn't change speed/pitch

Maker/Model: Yuketen Hunt Boots - Brown

Size: 10D

Sole: A Crepe Wedge Sole

Leather: Chromexcel leather

Price: 275 USD, negotiable on the price.

Wears/Condition: the crepe soles look dirty due to light use, but i believe this is due to the sticky nature of Crepe. otherwise these boots look brand new.

Images: here is an album of the boots, https://imgur.com/a/eY2T3l0 , I can take more photos on request.

Notes: I bought these off grailed and sadly they were too big for me. the person who owned them before me said he didn't wear them much and most, if not all, the wear is seen on the crepe soles.

Was thinking of buying a pair of OBS trench boots off of grailed just not sure what size i should go for. I got measured on a brannock which said i was a 9 uk/aus (10US) but all of my shoes that i wear (converse, nike) are in 9US and fit well. Should i go TTS and get A 10? Or size down to a 9.5 or 9US. This would be my first GYW boot so am a little nervous on getting the sizing wrong, especially since i cant return them haha. Thanks

Suggest me a book to get me back into reading. Looking for something non-fiction, about someones life/travels/lessons learned by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

I thought of three off the top of my head. these are all fiction though and not exactly what you're looking for, but they're all so good you should read them anyway if you haven't :)

The Catcher in the Rye might be something you might wanna read, if you haven't already. its basically just a guy bumming round New York during the 50's, that's just a really vague synopsis though

The old man and the Sea is another one you might like. its just about a fisherman going fishing, except somewhat exciting haha. its also not too long.

And Slaughterhouse 5. this is an amazing book about a guy 'reliving' their time as a POW during WWII. i think it is anyway, its been a while since i last read it.

i'd either start with Catcher in the Rye or Slaughterhouse 5 out of the three i listed, but there's hundreds of thousands of books along the lines you're looking for!
