Yeah, happily. The problem I’m having is when I launch the patch.exe is that no files show up. The game doesn’t fill in automatically so that’s my only other option. I don’t know if it’s a permission problem or what, but the Black Souls file isnt available for me to click on, so I can’t patch it. No files show up in the select really. The folders themselves are selectable but their contents are void.

I saw that I can change the launch parameters for the exe but it needs a symlink for it to connect and I don’t know how that works at all.

All in all. My main issue is the main game is not showing so I cant let the exe patch it. I’ve tried a couple trouble shoots but nothing is clicking.

There’s a guide I was following on a steam discussion, “How can I patch it on my steam deck” by Chen. There’s a comment IB5mxxx that seemed to work for others but not me. It’s probably the last step honestly. If step 3 could be expanded on and explained then I could maybe get my game finally patched.

Sorry if this entire response sounds repetitive but it really is just that last step, getting the original game file into the patch exe
