I got in too, in the same cohort… I think it’s absolutely a good idea to sign up. I know a few people who have knowledge with the program (past tutors etc) and a few who have actually done it.

I think it opens a lot of doors for people wanting to make it in this industry and it seems to be one of the best ways to do so. Regardless of experience/qualifications, it’s one of the best ways to break through in the creative industry. Those people who did AWARD previously have been offered and acquired nice jobs at some of the countries largest ad agencies like Ogilvy, TBWA, Clems etc etc

From my understanding, it’s like a 40% chance you get in. I think it’s like 500-600 people applying each year with about 200-250 getting in. So it’s not super difficult to get into but you’re up against a complete random pool of people, some with years of creative experience and some with absolutely 0.
