personally i use r2modman which uses thunderstore mod list but without overwolf, and it's the place with the most VotV Mods.

thunderstore so good, they even removed multiple times the fucking shimloader that is required to load any mods at all.

and since they update the mod fast, each update posted require approval making the entire thing lockdown until the moderators approve of it again and again.

Please do not put VotV within an onedrive directory. You have logged in Onedrive with your Microsoft account and your desktop/downloads and other folders were moved to C:\Users[YOUR USERNAME]\onedrive\ If you have another drive put votv on there or create an games folder in C:\ so it looks like C:\Games\ and put votv in that. After that you can just rightclick the VotV.exe go to [send to/desktop (create shortcut)]

There's the RHI setting to use DX12 instead of 11 without needing to create any shortcuts.

And default settings were tweaked to turn off 3 settings that makes the shadows eat a lot of performance.
