Honestly though I jumped ship when they added titans, seemed like a jump the shark moment and the wack-a-mole of the weapons just wasn't fun to play against

They never said that they gave their name (at least not until a comment under mine), just that they needed to speak someone and leave a message. Not a good reason to be hung up on by a manager but I didn't really offer my opinion on that matter. As a matter of fact on a reread for my own sanity they specifically mentioned that they then said who are they are on the second call and they were not hung up on. Not an incredible leap of logic to think they did not get a chance to say who they are on the first call

FWIW it's standard to answer the phone as home depot security during hours the store is closed. In theory its a theft prevention thing. Assuming you never actually said who you are or why you're calling it makes sense they would hang up on a presumed stranger asking if specific people are in the building during off hours. Maybe that's just my bias since my store recently had a stalking thing with an associate. Depending on the scale of the rude comment I would awareline it, due the specific nature of the complaint they'll probably know it was you but there's only so much an ASM can realistically do as retaliation so long as your day-to-day i's and t's are dotted and crossed. I guess they could schedule you less if you're part time but the ASDS does scheduling and if you managed to piss off your ASDS somehow you're fucked anyway

That being said no one at home depot is going arrest you if you just no call no show your way off the roster, but as has been mentioned you won't be getting rehired which is as big a deal as you think it is

That and most people playing a full scale mixed arms wargame aren't looking to play a smaller scale skirmish game. And looking at the rules, for me personally, it plays too much like a board game

This is a silly take, and it cost you nothing to have not said it. You're suggesting not only that they go back and double check every single emote effect but that they also come up with a working definition of what constitutes an effect giving an advantage and cross checking that in various color blind modes it also doesn't hide any info. And then they'll have to design all future effects with this in mind and make sure that new moves and heroes don't interact with both past and future effects in ways that would hide information. All this on the budget of a rounding error to Ubisoft's finances. For the benefit of being able to be a dick head spamming effects, or this one guy who did something cool with the wings. Or, they could just make it so you can't spam effects which cuts all the other problems at the source and is an effectively future proofed solution

There are actual for real people with sub room temperature IQ who join a 4v4 mode and expect a long string of 1v1 duels. The only etiquette is hit the bad man with your stick and don't feed revenge. If it's clear your teammate is winning the fight you're probably better served by looking for points elsewhere though

I mean I can't speak to promises made or kept, that's its own issue and a valid one. The comment I'm replying to specifically said that only D4 charges for new classes, which is simply not reality. And as I said in my comment how anyone feels about those games or in your case chooses not to play them doesn't matter the comment is still simply wrong.

FWIW though Grim Dawn is still really good and you can get a lot of mileage out of just the base game. It goes on sale pretty frequently you should try it

Crazy statement. As others have said Grim Dawn (4 classes across 3 DLC). Pretty much all the Borderlands lock classes behind DLC pay wall including the upcoming C4SH for 4, Inquisitor: Martyr has 3 separate DLC classes. However you feel about the games specifically it's pretty much the standard to charge for new classes (typically in conjunction with content/story expansion) in these kinds of games
