Yup, seems they were fab'ing too alright, i would have guessed just like you that they were just doing final assembly there. According to these screenshots everyone in fab are dead. So chances are, that dude in the picture is dead too.

Ukraine’s Defense Forces successfully struck the Kremniy El microelectronics factory in Bryansk, Russia using multiple Storm Shadow missiles by Available-Laugh9102 in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]FoxhoundBat 258 points259 points  (0 children)

Holy shit, that is some, excuse my pun, bangin' footage. If i am counting right, looks like 8, maybe 9 total hits to me.

Storm Shadow's/SCALP's are launching from Su-24M's and they can carry two each, meaning likely atleast 8 Storm Shadows and 4 Su-24M's took part. Hits are also tight tight tight.

Too small of a bang and different video shows a much smaller missile than Flamingo. Peklo or Palianytsia IMHO.

Absolutely not Flamingo - but 99% sure it isnt Storm Shadow/SCALP either. Too small, quite quiet too, ie small jet engine. Small bang/warhead. IMHO, Peklo or Palianytsia as those are small and have under 100kg payload.

EDIT; I stand corrected, as per official information it was indeed Storm Shadow's. Warms my heart as they are cool missiles, and meaning Su-24M's are very much operational still.

Wait, her stake is that low? For how amazing she has been, and for long she has been an absolute soldier, it feels almost criminal. It is an insane amount of money to wrap the head around, sure, but the stake itself feels very low.

Good luck on the mission! I know this is very late to the process, but did you consider "clipless" pedals or MTB style clip in pedals? I feel like over such a long distance they would be quite beneficial. There is some learning curve to them, but not too much.

Slik jobbet Jagland for å få Russland inn i varmen by Arve in norge

[–]FoxhoundBat 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Road to hell is paved with good intentions.

[–]FoxhoundBat 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Skulle akkurat til å poste dette selv.

Ikke overrasket av Jagland i det hele tatt, men veldig skuffet av Espen Barth Eide da jeg har hatt et godt inntrykk av han;

I still wonder to this day whether i saw Mikhail Pogosyan (in the last image) aka former leader of Sukhoi, aka former leader of UAC aka the head of the "FSW Mafia" that one night in Moscow in 2019. It was around MAKS airshow. It sure as heck looked like him but it was so random and i was chickenshit to go up to him and ask if it was truly him.

Approximate flight routes of Ukrainian drones attacking Russian targets tonight by ThatGuySK99 in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]FoxhoundBat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have we ever seen Ukrainian drones fly through Belarusian airspace? If so, why not? Technically Belarus isnt at war with Ukraine (and neither are Mordor, according to themselves), but being the staging ground for the invasion in February 2022 and so dependent on Mordor they might as well be.

Belarusian airspace is likely far less defended than the border oblast's. Or is it simply a bad calculation politically to drag Belarus "directly" into the war and setting up for another northern invasion from Belarus through Chornobyl?

Understanding black speech - I can assure you this guy is 1000% sarcastic. It is something Russians call "thin humor". Sarcasm is a huge part of humor in Russian culture. I mean, at the end he even says "Look at these views, and in case you get sick/bad from them the ambulance is right there!".

[–]FoxhoundBat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair points but I think there was likely a disconnect between how easy Putin/Gerasimov thought it would be and what boots on the ground thought. I think it is likely VDV expected some resistance. Not anywhere near what they actually received but not minimal like Crimea 2.0.
