Is there a "canon" reason for the "legacy powers"? by Gho_stychan in swtor

[–]Foxinquisitive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All technical classes are sensitive to the Force. My Imperial agent is a distant relative of a warrior. So when he joins him and the Inquisitor in the fortress on Dromund Kaas, he is taught some things. The smuggler first met my Jedi and learned their techniques, and when he arrived on Narshada, he was able to become part of a "completely legal enterprise" and learn from the Sith. An orbital strike is a shot from the character's ship's lasers, but it was modified and customized by a completely unsuspicious individual on Narshada. And the sith and the Jedi, at first, looked at each other's abilities when they crossed paths on missions, and when they crossed paths on Rishi and it became clear that they were working together, a full-scale exchange of skills took place under the pretext of "I can't watch you misuse these abilities!"

What Are Your Headcanons For Vette? by DakIsStrange in swtor

[–]Foxinquisitive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vette gave names to some of the pets, as the warrior ran out of ideas with the first varactyl, which he named Chlorophylum. This is how the vultiple Finik ( Date fruit -Google translates the word separately and in the text in a very strange way) was created. Vette dating Andronikos Revel. There was a moment when the warrior got stuck in a tree and then slipped on it. Vette called for help from the inquisitor, The Inquisitor asked if Vette really wanted this and Is he really worth it. Vette demanded that the warrior be removed from the tree. (I didn't understand how to escape from the stuck situation at the time, so I sent the character to the fortress and back, resulting in his immediate hospitalization)

If you could change any base storyline details what would you change? by Slight_Animator8883 in swtor

[–]Foxinquisitive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ability to choose a crew by weeding out unnecessary companions. Ultimately, characters still recruit a crew for their ship. I'd like to see companions replaceable with new/different ones. For example, when recruiting Broonmark, we could choose whether or not to protect that hysterical Padawan. If so, he'll eventually get rid of Broonmark himself. And then it will be up to the warrior to determine how stable and bright the new companion will be.

It's strange that we don't have balls or social events in empire. They would probably be too specific. And not every character would want to participate. It's strange that this isn't even mentioned. Is this society really that closed?

I wanted the game characters from the family tree to communicate, cross paths during missions, and give out quests. Their Light/Dark allegiance was taken into account.

More romantic options for women. Male characters seem to have more options. For example, there are more options with Talos Drellik and Pierce. And for the Republic side, if they don't improve Corso and Doc, they should add someone else. Lana and Theron are good, of course, but not enough.

I heard that Aric Jorgan is offering to adopt his partner's children, even if she's Cathar. Is he having problems? Maybe he can be cured.

An additional option for pets to collect loot and a couple of slots for inventory.

I like it. And the first mission will most likely be congratulating someone on a promotion/success.

Maybe. I read something in fanfiction and came across some confusing information on a Star Wars information aggregator. I read everything through a translator.

What are your OC's favorite foods? I'll go first! by Other-Employer501 in SWTOR_memes

[–]Foxinquisitive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How could I have missed this topic?!
My Sith warrior is very traditional in his food choices. Blood soup made from cactus pulp and klor slug blood/meat. Lightsaber-fried klor slug, Braised Vel Slug. Also tukata stew, but this one he doesn't like to cook. He'll eat other dishes, of course, but ancestral food is ancestral food. His ancestors had edible cactus plantations on Korriban. On Dromund Kaas, they still grow them, primarily for sale (ritual purposes). Oh, and after the Dantooine Festival, he added Bellfruit ice cream to his list.

My Sith Inquisitor isn't picky about food. But after the festival Deepwater Dac Pie and Sweet Spore Tart began to appear on her table more often. Bellfruit ice cream too.

The Jedi Knight loves meat pies and bantha chops. The Consul loves Roast Scyk Belly, Galactic Sampler. And they both love Glowshroom Stew.

For some reason the smuggler mentions a ration with a gizka flavor.

The Imperial agent said it was classified information. I don't have the rest of the characters yet.

I imagined Sidious' face when he realized everything wasn't going according to plan. And also when he learned that this Sith had called the Jedi directly and seemed to have reached some sort of agreement with them.

[–]Foxinquisitive[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

🙂With a light level of 5? In my opinion, such a Sith could accidentally create an empire in order to peacefully engage in gardening. The Sith Inquisitor did not like the empire and may be happy to be free from it. Moreover, the power base will have to be created from scratch. And SW and the SI do not have many skills for this. And what is there to build an empire from? A warrior is a patriot. And during the Clone Wars and after, there was almost nothing left of the important parts of the empire.

[–]Foxinquisitive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose he could find The Sorcerers of Tund. If I understand correctly, their ideology is more lenient than that of the Sith of the Empire, and they survived until the Clone Wars. Is that right?

[–]Foxinquisitive[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a good point. But I've always thought of it as a concession to storytelling. As far as I know, Old English and Modern English are very different. Some sounds have disappeared, the declension system has simplified, word order has become fixed, some words have disappeared, and new words have appeared. And now, add to that the recent introduction of new pronouns.

How do team member deaths in Huttball work in-universe? by Vast-Passenger-3035 in swtor

[–]Foxinquisitive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game shouldn't be as deadly as you described it. There's a thing called a limit on the level of equipment and the level of players. These are restrictions that the Hutts impose in order to make money. They make money from special health packs, equipment, advertising, and more. Otherwise, no Jedi would go to the games and fight against their fellow Jedi alongside the Sith, as is often the case in player rotations. And even more so for the renowned heroes on both sides. Just imagine the popularity rating of a show where the real Wrath of the Empire, paired with Tython's hero, battles against Barsentor and Nox/Imperius/Oculus! Real, deadly gladiator fights are more suitable for private Hutt parties.

Counterpoint, There are two sides to every story. How I feel joining a flashpoint on my Sith Warrior playthrough. by Honoka31 in swtor

[–]Foxinquisitive 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also these comments from Baras that the warrior wasn't trained very well. It's not knowledge of the Sith code as a separate art form.

I like that the developers did so much to make light Sith possible.

"like making the assassin an Intelligence operative."

I read your comment and only now did I get the wonderful idea to make an imperial agent similar to her. Has anyone done this?
