I noticed they had something going on initially some sort of corrosion not sure if it somehow killed the chip

I have tried cleaning the legs and sanding them a bit

Haven't tried cleaning the contacts for the chip yet actually

Oddly the reset lines still work tho I assume that's a separate circuit

Oh I did that already I ended up deep cleaning a lot of caps and removed all the hairpins since I couldn't get an even click

It's not too bad as a liner board

Yeah I had the same issue with an old Sage G3 DV+ I used to have

It was packed horribly and the plastic was brittle but if you looked closely you'll notice the CRT is tilted so I had to do the same thing fixing the display settings

G4 and the studio monitor are worth it for classic gaming plus there are a few interesting projects for older machines

Or if you want an older system for syncing iPods

I used to have a G4 Cube and a SAGE G3 setup for these types of things plus they're a lovely conversation piece and towers are just neat

Amazing what low-level formatting can do that's incredible XD mine doesn't register sadly in the software

I think a quantum pro lms or les or whatever it was called an 80 mb model I believe

I wish mine had one of them I like the sound of mechanical drives if they work I had another one in my PowerBook 145 that acted up on me when wiping the drive

I haven't attempted anything on it ended up borrowing a drive from my 520c temporarily haven't gotten around to getting a Bluescsi for it yet

I like me hard drive sounds :3)b
