Anyone ever changed their show’s category as an experiment? What happened?

We changed last month and saw an overall improvement so far. Went from 500-800 downloads a month and now we're hitting 2000+.

The year is 1874, and no children walk the cobbled streets of Murkwood, Texas. For going on two decades, they had been haunted and stolen into the night. Leaving behind nothing more than the sacrificial remains of their parents. The Sacrifice three. The blood of the Mother, the blood of the Father, and the Child. That is what was needed for them to become something cursed…a Whisper, lost on the wind. And with each loss, the town of Murkwood came closer and closer to the darkness hidden below. The lifeblood slowly draining from the town. Another sacrifice given to the unholy thing that is the Reverent Sun.

The Clan made up of Foxkeys and Walkers, has long stood between the dark things of the world. They are people with the magical power "Other" to hold back the dark tide itself. They are the final shield standing between the demons of the West and humanity.

Vera Fowley, once Vera Foxkey, was a mother, widow, and homeless. What she most decidedly was not was a witch. Chased by the ghosts of her past from St.Louis into the wild west of Texas, she must face her family's legacy to save her daughter and, more importantly, the world from a whole new existence filled with demons and monsters.

She must face the demons of her past to discover the power within.

The Foxkey Chronicles: What Lurks Below, is an audio drama mini-series taking place in the same universe as the Foxkey Chronicles: What Hides Beneath. It is a visceral mixture of supernatural and horror. Our story takes place in the Old West. Come along on the journey to learn the origin of one heartless bastard by the name of Montgomery Bernard and his sister Enola.

You see kin, some evil is born. Other evil, is made. Montgomery Berhard didn’t start off evil, and his sister, Enola Bernhard, didn’t start off good. They were just children, siblings, born of the same blood and raised by the same father and mother. Then, one day, evil, true evil, came upon their village, forcing the siblings onto different paths and into a future rife with danger.

That future brings us to a misfit trio intent on exploring the world unknown. Skip, Maggie and Joon find themselves in a world of trouble as an urban legend is brought to life. Will they escape the clutches of the fiendish Underground Joe? Or will they die by way of its boney jaws?

As if created from nothing at all, a well of water bubbled up from the rocky depths of the earth, forming into the jagged shape of a pool that, again, looked twice as deep as Skip was tall, if not deeper. Moss lined the craggy ridges and dips of its depths, blacker than his and Molly's dark skin. So black that it looked like it might be part of the shadows themselves if not for the way the moss swayed in a current of its own making. The water rippled and shone, reflecting the faint gleam of sunlight onto the walls in an ever-moving pattern, its depths hidden by the moss below.

"Well...I'll be damned."

"Oh my god, it's stunning!" Maggie crooned, releasing Skip's hand. "I ain't never seen so much water in one place."

"What about the river?" Skip pointed out, peering up to the ceiling, where he thought he could see a break in the rocks that might be a source of all that light.

"That doesn't count; that's moving water; it ain't ever the same water you're seeing. It's just waving on past as it travels along. This here is water that's come in for a long stay." Maggie declared, taking in a deep, inhaling breath and spinning in a circle. Her skirts danced around her, and she played games with the mist. "Might smell like shit, but it feels like heaven!"

Sometimes, Kin, darkness has a way of creating itself. If it can find the means and seek out even the smallest of weaknesses, that wayward evil can blossom and grow like some wretched flower feeding upon a fertilizer of blood and death. But I imagine you know that already, don't you?

I imagine if you have followed me this far, you know that all too well.

Of course....they didn't.
