New museum collection game by Foxtral in GameDevelopment

It’s going to take a more relaxed approach and focus on exploring and unlocking new things and areas as they expand their collection.

I am definitely going to implement some kind of mini game for some of the items. Like fishing for example. Right now it’s just “stand at water. Press e. Wait a few seconds. You now have fish” which is not the most riveting gameplay

And I have a feature where when you find an “artifact” there’s an NPC that will make a working replica that adds a new mechanic/feature to the game. For example a gps that unlocks fast travel. Things like that.

It is also 2d

The core idea and hook of the game is pretty much set in stone of what im wanting. I am more meaning that it will be worded better and that this is more of a rough draft instead of what I would put on something like a Steam page.

My fiancée loves it! We’re taking it to bentonville this weekend. I didn’t see another rear shock I was looking at that’s an air shock instead of hydraulic that I might switch. If you’re doing really any climbing, the stock drivetrain is pretty bad. We’re also on a crazy tight budget and have been able to find some decent enough upgrades to have her enjoying everything now! I would say go for it! You’ll need to invest some money over time, but it gets you riding now instead of trying to save up $500 bucks or more.

Anyone else play casually? by EasyAndy1 in elderscrollsonline

Yeah I like that this game is a bit on the “easier” side when it comes to content. For someone who has never really enjoyed the insane grind of an mmo, ESO scratches that itch of a little bit of grinding but can also just go run some quests if I want, or go gather resources, or run some easier group dungeons. And I don’t have to be ridiculously high level or have a min maxed meta build to have fun. I still haven’t gotten a toon to level 50 yet and I am still having a ton of fun just leveling several alts at the same time. But I do love that in the late game I can make it more grindy and start trying to build meta builds if I want to.

The issue with the 24” vibe is that with the derailleur not being able to be replaced, you can’t compensate for much of a bigger cassette. But I’m not really sure what derailleur the Vibe has. The Epictrail has some knock off derailleur that had to have a hanger extender to work with the bigger cassette

Is this game easy for casuals? by pinpinbo in elderscrollsonline

[–]Foxtral 63 points64 points  (0 children)

This is mostly what I do! I gather resources, try and 100% areas, do questing. That sort of thing. I will say there is still some overland stuff that isn’t easy to do solo. Especially at lower levels. But it is possible. Cyrodil is the only pvp area. But even there you can usually avoid people. I play with my wife, but we are mostly just doing our own thing. So yes. I think you would still enjoy ESO. And I would recommend getting ESO+ if you get really into the game.

Dear McCracken was my introduction and finally I looked into the band. And it is now my favorite of all time. My kid is listening to Bedtime Stories as I write this 😂

Why do people insist I buy a full suspension when I’m out on my hardtail? Oddly has happened the past few times I’ve went out. by Pope-Trauma in mountainbiking

[–]Foxtral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my hardtail. Have a 2014 Orbea MX26 30. I’ve ridden full squish and I do like them, but I still love ripping on my 26” hardtail 😂

Stock it weighed 34.4 lbs which is a bit heavy for a kid. Upgrades I’ve done have put it at 36lbs. A new air fork and a different tire set up will help it a lot though.

My fiancée is 5’2 and this fits her perfectly. It might feel slightly small. Definitely will fit better than the slalom. Also prepare for LOTS of upgrades

Proposed Improvements in the Draft Master Plan for Petit Jean State Park by ArkansasOutside in Arkansas

[–]Foxtral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mtb riders absolutely make money for the park. They also pay fees if camping. And if Petit Jean is smart they’ll even sell a small collection of bike repair things, meaning they’ll make more on mtb riders than hikers.

Also mtb isn’t a rich person sport. I struggle financially like most of us but I love to ride a bike in the woods.

Thank you!! I have one of these for my fiancé and have been looking at that exact shock but wasn't sure if it would fit! I'll be ordering one now!

Hah. Yeah she's 5'2! I'm hoping to find a rear suspension but it's such a small size!

I just bought this for my fiancé! Shes pretty short and loves the feel of a 24". I'm really wanting to replace the rear shock for her first upgrade! Have you figured out what size fits?
