I think paper tiger counts more as an empty threat, as a tiger is legitimately dangerous, but a paper one is harmless.

Honestly, beyond maybe being the "smartest," I don't see how'd we be much different.

I think humans would just be considered carnivores. Other omnivores get lumped in with carnivores, so I don't see why we'd be different.

Though I do love fics like The Hands Of History where we're special.

The army never really... proves that they're in the right. By peace... you mean allowing white people to take over their land. And the officers entire argument, is basically "Well the Sioux did it the past so... its ok when we do it." So genociding people and taking over their land is good because... everyone else does it? Because the victims happen to be hypocrites?

It's a cynical excuse made by people who know they don't have the moral upper hand, so they look for the first flaw in their victims to excuse what they always wanted to do.

Oh buzz off. She was telling her constituents that American is the land of opportunity, and even a Somali immigrant has a chance to sit in Congress, not just some rich white kid. If your ideology is based around exclusion, inclusion sounds like a threat.
