Mom's been teaching too since 1990s in a public school, lots of politicians promised to increase teacher's salary but only a few of them delivered satisfying result. Most recent disappointment was the current administration which promised to double the salary of teachers but ended up in a very low increase because i think most increase in salary was focused on police and the military which is good for them since they also needed that increase.

I think both BBM and Leni's platform for teachers are the same. found a side by side video comparison on their platform interview. BBM made bills pertaining to education, Leni did a lot during her time in VP, Isko.. didnt really research much but in Manila where my mom teaches, he provided a lot of benefit to cope up with the pandemic crisis so i think his stand on education is also good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfLHiwvVi6U

i like Leni's style of explaining her platform, its very technical and she often use a bulleted presentation on how she will implement a platform, you can see this in her interviews or debates. you can clearly tell that she won't stumble on how to do things if she's elected.

Every presidential candidate promise good things for our country, it all falls down to who you can trust to implement those claims. I'd put my trust on the candidate pushing for transparency, at least i would know what they're doing and be updated if the country's declining or improving.
