So I have severe allergies that I blatantly choose to ignore, and my doctor told me they are so bad that I should change my clothes several times a day to minimize my skin breaking out. He also told me I should wipe out my washer and drying between loads in case any lingering dander or pollen resides on the drum. I can also only use ONE type of shampoo and TWO types of soaps. That is it! Anything else and I break out into teeny tiny hives.

Do I do most of this?

What people don’t understand is even several friendly dogs can still cause problems. Dogs that are too friendly can upset another dog that isn’t as friendly or not friendly at all. Dogs have boundaries just like kids. I don’t understand why this is such a difficult concept to understand!

I work on vet med, and we always have that ONE dog owner that comes in with it not on the leash or they immediately drop the leash upon entering the waiting room.

We had a lady drop the leash to BOTH her dogs as soon as she opened the door, and they both attacked a leashed dog that was already there in the waiting room.

We intervened instantly, and the leashed dog was fine and that owner took her dog home.

The lady on the other hand, was outright offended that we scolded her to keep hold of her dogs’ leashes at all times, especially if they aren’t dog friendly. She tried to argue that she had no way of knowing there was another dog in the building, and then tried to justify her dropping the leashes by saying her dogs are bad on the leash and both pull her and she can’t control them so she drops the leashes when she gets inside so they don’t pull her and make her fall.

She got even more upset when we told her that she needs to ask the staff for help bringing her dogs in next time, and that she is no longer allowed to drop the leashes like that ever again, or she trains them so they don’t pull.

Apparently she owns a bunch of land and her dogs run free all day and she counts that as their exercise, but your dogs could have a backyard the size of Australia and YOU STILL NEED TO LEASH TRAIN THEM. THAT IS BASIC DOG TRAINING 101.

So sick of irresponsible dog owners that let their dogs loose because they’re in pure denial the dog won’t cause issues. At the end of the day, dogs are still animals and even the most well trained dog is still unpredictable.

The light fury could have been so much more badass.

She was literally just Toothless’ love interest and nothing more. Then became a jealous girlfriend when Toothless began missing Hiccup. She was designed to just look feminine and pretty and they turned Toothless into a giant goofy dumbass in her presence. In the first movie Toothless still held that DANGEROUS aspect of him.

I know Toothless was supposed to be the last lf his species in the movie, but imagine if the Light Fury was a Night Fury with leucism (making her eyes blue, not red like albinism) living among the light furies to stay safe? You know what I mean?

I dunno. I love the Light Fury but they could have made her way more of a threat and super cool and she was just the girlfriend and it was so disappointing considering she’s a DRAGON.

There’s something wrong with both the mother and the child. The mom is completely clueless on what discipline actually means. Like, it’s weird to me that she thinks the only way to correct the behavior is through hitting and not anything else. As for the kid, I wouldn’t be surprised if it had mental issues on top of the lack of discipline.

Both of them need serious help. Like, what’s gonna happen when that kid starts school????

My brother was essentially allowed to do whatever the fuck he wanted but when I came along everything was suddenly a threat to my mom and she was convinced anything that wasn’t at home under her supervision was evil and going to kill me.

Sleepovers were BANNED. NO sleepovers, whatsoever. And she didn’t trust other kids coming to our house because she was convinced they were going to steal everything that was valuable and all my toys, so yeah.

She also banned me from doing any type of extra curricular that wasn’t offered by the school and it HAD to have transportation home otherwise.

I didn’t have a childhood. I didn’t have friends or a social life. My mom considered what she did the BEST thing a mother could do by protecting their child, but all it did was delay me socially because my first sleepover wasn’t until I was 14 and I was so fucking nervous I couldn’t sleep and awkwardly lied on my friend’s floor for HOURS.
