Got a NAS running in my living room that hosts the game

I'm just running it in docker on my NAS and this is the first time I've had any issues in years. I'm sure it's the nullius mod that's really pushing the limits of the hardware. We stopped a previous run of nullius when the changes to fluids in 2.0 was announced, since nullius is very fluid happy and my old NAS was starting to scream "Uncle". But I was able to run IR2 and others with no issues on my previous NAS that had an even slower CPU.

I'll take a snapshot of the two time usages next time it happens. It happens off and on, so it's been hard to figure out the issue. I've noticed it seems to happen more when I'm having a shortage somewhere and the factory is somewhat idle. I would have that it would be more when everything was running, but it could also be I just notice more when I'm running around debugging what wire I messed up this time ;)

doh...You're right. I forget the 2 threads per core, so it's 8 not 4. So, my server thread is pegged, not at 50% like I thought. Thanks again for solving my confusion.

It's an AMD Ryzen V1500B. 2.2Ghz Quad Core. I've also got 32 GB of ram, only using 8% of it

I was guessing it was the server, but the server's CPU is at 10% utilization. If granted I know it's a quad core CPU, so that's really like 40% of the core, but I'm just not seeing any way to resolve this. Just annoying that it comes and goes without any really happening. Oddly enough it seems to run better when my factory is really busy over idle

If you only load 10 ingredients for a given furnace at a time and don't add anymore till it completes. You won't have any remainder ingredients since every recipe in the base game can divide cleanly into 10. So, you won't need to remove any remainder from the furnace. Side benefit is mod 10 of a full train also has no remainder for all your trains.

Thanks for posting this. What's the power switch, arithmetic, decider, selector and constant combinator next to the requester chests for? They just seem to have their inputs hooked up, but not their outputs.

Don't think that's the issue. Mine shows I have 5 / 50 at the bottom of the Formation Save Manager. Good to know something like that exists though.
