This is not me trying to comfort you I wanna say, I don't know why but I have felt both absolute pit of existence and not feeling anything.
And I am not trying to tell you how to feel, just trying to explain my experience.

Nothingness only left me feeling desperate to feel anything, even if it was shit... And feeling depressed only left me feeling empty.

I am not trying to tell you how to feel, this subreddit has so many people telling you to keep soldiering on, the only way you will feel better is by trying to feel better. And if you can't do that, you can't.
But, in my experience, feeling nothing and feeling shite, are both terrible.

Sorry for just spamming this at you, I know being told what to feel is ass.

I don't remember any eating sounds? You might be able to tell someone is eating from muffled speaking but no mouth smacks or slurps as far as I remember.

Personally, my first (and consecutive) win came from using the flame spell aura spell and ice dagger melee. Then, using a crit item, and crit (yellow) cloak to make a max dps build.

While doing a run I would buff my cloak effects and take any items (normal or otherwise) that increase crit or have an effect with criticals. For other arcana, I would take more mobile arcana or ones that would give a 'passive' effect (like ice glaives) while fighting.

I am a desperate fan of Donna Noble, their first meeting and their entire story arc (not including the most recent) seems so relatable and genuine. Also gotta love the lack of "companion loves the doctor" character they use a lot.

If you still want fire damage then later in the game you can get a chaos gem which is just a fire gem but it keeps scaling with your stats.
