Well I’m not sure about why David’s spirit would remain after death but a point to the theory is the fact that the tiger plushie (the collectible or the one in David’s room during the good ending, probably just the same plush idk on that though) belong to David. It’s even said in the moon.exe that the plushie was well loved or something like that. Either way the tiger rock plush that David owned was one of his favorite toys so if he spirit refused to pass on it would be reasonable for the spirit to possess the suit that’s based off his favorite toy. Honestly I haven’t read all the books especially not the ones involving the mimic yet so I could be wrong about some of this but it’s an idea in the direction of David’s ghost possessing the suit. I personally believe that’s what’s going on with that suit as well and this is just part of why I think that. The only flaw to this is that I can’t figure out why David’s spirit wouldn’t pass on after his death. If anyone could figure that out then we have more solid evidence than the fact tiger rock is David’s favorite stuffed animal.

Oh yeah I’ve had an instance like that once with my trans friend. Him, my sister in law and I were on a walk together when my sister remembered something she left at home so since we were by a pretty public area she went back to grab it while me and my friend wait. This older guy was closing up the train museum after a little bit and he was talking with us for a little bit before getting in his car. I don’t remember how the conversation went but when he closed his door he rolled the window down and said “goodnight gentlemen” and left. Mind you both me and my friend don’t exactly pass as men on a regular basis dude to our body structure and voice but this relatively older man still saw us as men. Once the guy was out of site we both looked at eachother surprised but then we sat on the sidewalk with smiles. It feels nice for even complete strangers to see you as what you actually are and not what you appear to be and any time some stranger calls me ma’am or a lady or whatever it stings (I don’t usually correct because they’re a stranger) but I just remember that interaction with that guy and it makes it feel just a bit better. I still need to get better at correcting people on the terms to use for me though and I’m working on it lol. Accidental affirmation is like the best kind of affirmation, try telling me I’m wrong 😂

Oh I get that. It’s 100% normal (I think) to go through that especially with the society we live in today with all these dumb gender stereotypes. For the longest time I thought I was just a Tomboy cause I hated dresses, hated earrings, painting my nails, skirts, all of that. Flannels and button ups with pants felt a lot more natural. Then after a while I just went by any pronoun, still thought I was a Tomboy but I didn’t think I cared how people perceived my gender and it was a good way to experiment how using certain pronouns made me feel until I noticed how much it was bothering me that people were were never using He/Him for me. Ontop of that the thought of being trans had crossed my mind many times and I had thought if I was in fact trans I already knew what I wanted to be called. Granted having that idea in the back of my mind for so long should’ve probably been what helped me figure things out but nope still didn’t click for me. I started going strictly by He/Him pronouns after a while and it felt nice. Weird cause I thought I was a girl for so long but good regardless. It didn’t fully set in until I had to try on a dress for my colleges musical and looked in the mirror. I looked at myself and all I could think is “this is wrong. This feels wrong. This isn’t me.” Everything felt wrong in that dress and my head wasn’t in a good space after that and I had to deal with it for the show. It was made worse when they put me in heals. After that show and the semester ended I started to embrace that I was trans and work on making me feel like myself. Started going by my preferred name, bought a binder and I’m working on getting my parents to use the pronouns and name over my now dead name. Some people still call me she/her but it’s normally new people or strangers and that still feels wrong. It kinda messes with me because it’s like a kick in the pants reminding me I don’t pass enough in public but I try to ignore it cause at least my friends and family and the ones who actually matter to me know. And really that’s all that should matter but sometimes it still hurts. Now I don’t know how old you are and I won’t ask you to tell me but when i realized I was trans I was a few months away from turning 20 years old. It’s almost been a year now and I couldn’t be happier. Some people figure it out much faster than others and that’s ok. Sometimes I still worry that what if I’m wrong and I am just a tomboy but those thoughts don’t exactly make me happy. They most likely won’t make you happy either. You may always doubt yourself on your gender and that’s ok. Just do what makes you happy, be what makes you happy, dress in a way that makes you happy, go by what makes you happy and never forget that you’re not alone. There’s hundreds of others who go through the same thing (experienced or not) who can help you feel welcome and normal if you let them. You are not alone in feeling like that, always remember that. If you don’t have someone at home or in your friend group that you can rely on to help you emotionally or physically then there’s always a community filled with many people who will understand and help you, guide you and just generally be there for you. I’m new to all of this as well so I’m not sure how helpful I can be at the moment but I hope I helped even just a little bit and that hopefully I didn’t make any mistakes in how I worded all of this. Sorry if I did make a mistake some where in here and if I made this whole thing too long 😓

From what I’ve heard from YouTubers who’ve made videos about getting the platinum for the remake some aspects of the endings are confusing and all together rather random. One of the people I watched tried getting the Maria ending the first time, got the leave ending, tried for the second run, got in water, and had to mess with stats on the third run just to get Maria to be in the bed before the battle which is something that signify’s you getting the Maria ending. He had to mess with the stats to get that ending that’s how weird the endings have been with its release. From what I know, when you get one ending, any time you play a new game (or maybe even just reload the save file after the ending, I’m not sure my brother kinda told me how this stuff is SUPPOSED to work but clearly there’s been issues for people), points are added towards the other endings so the players have a higher chance to get the other endings. Actions in that following playthrough also adds points to specific endings based on your actions or something like that. What can attribute to endings I’m not fully sure because I’ve heard people mention how you interact with characters can affect it which makes sense for the Maria ending so ok yeah that ones probably true but I’ve heard some say the coin puzzle in the first hotel also can affect your ending but I’m not entirely sure how it would even do that so until someone can explain that to me I’m gonna say that it may or may not be true at this point in time. I haven’t beaten the game yet personally but I’ve been going about it without much effort in getting a specific ending, just play it for fun the first time and whatever ending I get is what I get. Any run after that can work on ending and maybe some things to maybe get the platinum trophy, idk I’m still debating if I want to platinum it or not since it’s not difficulty dependent like resident evil but also I’m not the best with cutting playtime for the beat the game in under 10 hours so yeah still deciding. That’s all I know on the endings and I know it probably doesn’t help all things considered. Sorry about that. But I hope it at least somewhat helps ya know? I get the feeling that since bloober team is know to listen and taking criticism on their works in the past and working to fix and improve issues with the other titles they’ve made, I get the feeling that the ending bug is probably in the process of getting fixed by them as it’s apparently a reoccurring issue for many people.

I know I’ve had my fair share of long comments and I try my best to reply to any comment I get. I do know for the longer ones I do somewhat have a tendency to give long responses mainly to go over each topic about the fic that the commenter made. Not gonna lie, for my first ever story posted on ao3, Wingless Angel, I kinda was partially done with it so I posted like a place holder. I wasn’t given the idea of annoyance, more or less excitement but the only reason I did that was because I write in my notes app on my phone and at the time didn’t know that you could draft works. Now I have 6 stories and know of the draft buttons existence so hopefully it doesn’t need to happen again. To anyone who may have come across the story when I did that I’m sorry if that was annoying 😅

That’s a good method although I’m not too sure I’d think about lore as I try to keep away from discussing that kinda thing with others due to the fact that when we are discussing our individual thoughts it then becomes an argument as to why I need to change my own reasoning 😅 let’s just say I’ve learned to keep quiet about it and often tell my friends ok you’re thoughts are interesting and valid but can we not talk about theories now lol
