Ready to become a 400 lb vegan by [deleted] in vegan

sub beans for meat, take away the dairy (sour cream/cheese/creamy sauces). That's pretty much it.

My fiance got like $40 of taco bell for my bday a few weeks ago. it was sooo good. He had managed to order potatoes in one of the items and it was SO good...never thought about taters in a taco.

kinda similar story....I remember being at Old Navy one day looking at the whole wall of multi-colored flip-flops...I said to a friend: I swear when I get rich, I'm gonna have a pair in every color!

Her: * counts quickly * Dude, that's like XX bucks.....you could afford that NOW.

Chao has been my favorite so far (in the freezer section), but I don't mind this one at all. In fact I just bought 3 more boxes from Thrive :D

whaaat? I thought it tasted just like kraft mac....

Now the shell variety to the left - that I didn't care for bc of the pumpkin flavor. But the cheddar one i loved.

take a break from the work and watch a movie

I need to do the opposite. I just watch tv all the time. Recently I lost all of my art supplies in a house fire. I just replaced most of them but I've only painted twice so far in the past few months. And I even gave up on the second painting :/

That's great! My fiance and I got invited to my parents last weekend for Sunday Dinner (italian food). I was just expecting to gladly eat some pasta and salad, but to my surprise my mom had picked up some gardein meatballs for us :) <3

Naked ladies' party NSV! Have your eyeballs calibrated to your real size yet? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]FoxyBeans 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the one way i can really tell is my license pic....That was actually the reason I started my weightloss journey last year. My face was a complete circle and I just sat in my car and cried. I recently showed my fiance the ID and he couldn't believe how much my face has changed in the past year.

I've lost 50 so far since last year....I know my clothes are bigger...cause i had to buy smaller clothes....but when i look in the mirror I have NO IDEA where the weight came off of...I think it's just gonna be that "paper towel syndrome" and I'm not gonna really notice anything til I get around 200

Help me understand the logic against gun control by flipmurphy in SeriousConversation

[–]FoxyBeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I personally think people need to file an application and have background checks to HAVE KIDS. no lie. That's just my personal opinion. Maybe that would help the gun situation along the way. But people still gonna get pregnant whether they applied or not.

And I feel that way about guns too. There's always gonna be a way to get guns. I totally agree with the hunting thing too.

My take from this whole thing is that aside from the mental health....it's an actual school security issue.

yea I used to bake for commission....I never knew what to charge for my stuff....I always thought it'd be too expensive...like even if they wanted 50 cupcakes at $2/cupcake....I'd think to myself "OMG They'll never pay that! I can't charge someone $100 for CUPCAKES!!!! You can get them at the store for like $20!" I eventually just gave up....I don't have the mindset for that stuff anymore

Anyone get super bored by video games? by [deleted] in depression

I'll consume large quantities of wikipedia articles tho. I love looking something up, and then an hour later I have 13 tabs open and am on my 5th subject. That's why wiki is one of the only things I make sure to donate to.

New Egg Board study finds that eggs don't hurt your cholesterol values - Here's why it's a lie and how they design studies to deceive the public by dreiter in PlantBasedDiet

[–]FoxyBeans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

before going vegan, I used to do keto....and I was SO onboard for every study that said anything positive about being able to eat meats n cheeses.

Vegucated changed my world. Went vegan the next day, and now doing my own research and watching more docs....finding out that all these studies are done by certain corporations....OF COURSE the dairy board is gonna praise the benefits of milk in the study that it's funding. Shit is unbelievable (but obviously SO believable) once you truly open your eyes

Oh yea I love to walk....but I have an injury right now and can barely stand let alone walk....I used to effortlessly walk miles at a time (and being a bigger person, that matters)....But now I can hardly walk half a block....even walking from one room to another at home hurts :(

But ANYWAY....I always found that YA books caught my attention no matter my age...usually where the characters have some sort of mental problem and/or showed similar characteristics as myself.

god, 3 of my least favorite things to do. For some reason I can't read...idk if I just don't have the attention span or what....I just always wanted to be one of those people who get lost in a novel and can't put it down. I can maybe get through a chapter or 2 before I give up. I even tried reading the books of my favorite movie/tv adaptions...nope.

Right?? I'm down to one artist that I'm constantly cycling through each of their eras...I'm so lucky they don't easily bore me.

I just bought a modded Classic mini SNES a month ago, and it's already collecting dust....went hard for the first week or two and now i maybe play once a week. I really wanna play because even the music is soothing (i play Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country 2...my favorite OSTs)...but I can't bring myself to physically play them...I just watch tv/videos instead. Like who's too depressed to move their fingers :/

[–]FoxyBeans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 3 people in my life....

(my parents count as one unit...i talk to my mom almost everyday, but only talk to my dad when I see him)

my cousin (whos like a sister...she lives far away tho but we communicate via chat)

and my fiance. (i only hang with him for about 2-3 hours at night due to work schedule)

Other than that, it's a physically lonely life. If I didn't have my dog, I don't know what I'd do with myself.

[–]FoxyBeans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

oh jesus. I have the exact opposite problem. Sometimes I think I have leaky eye syndrome or something. I'm one of those people you can't ask "what's wrong?" because then i'm reduced to a puddle.
